Superior Products Formula 4 Spray Wax 1 Gal Concentrate for Car Wash Water Repellence

This product it a life saver if you must wash your vehicle in direct sunlight. I have 2 black colored vehicles in my household and washing them in the shade is not an option for me at my house. I also suffer from moderately hard water as well. I found this trick on YouTube to mix the solution and spray on your vehicle while you are in the soaping/foaming phase then rinse as required and it definitely helps sheet the water off to aid in drying, and to prevent water spotting. I also use my water deionizer tank for the final rinse and I don't have to worry about chasing spots after washing anymore!

This stuff changed the game for me. Many of us don't have access to a garage and have limited time to fit car washing into our schedules (i.e. we can't always schedule it exactly when the sun goes down). Most of us also don't have access to a fancy deionized water system that won't leave any water spots. I washed my car in FULL hot sun and have zero water spots. I used Meguiar's Gold Class car soap, and the car has a layer of Griot's 3-in-1 spray wax on it that's about 3-4 weeks old. After rinsing the car, I applied Formula 4 diluted about 5-to-1 in a battery powered garden sprayer. I sprayed the whole car and then did another quick rinse. I had time to towel dry the whole car and had zero water spots. I think I may further dilute it to see what I can get away with (they recommend 10-to-1). I also mixed it with distilled water, to give the product the most chance to work. This will be a regular part of my wash routine moving forward. Update 1 month later: Still working well. Just wanted to reiterate that this isn't a product that you can spray on / rinse off, and then let the car air dry. You will still get water spots. This reduces air-dried spots, and buys you time to towel dry. In full hot sun, you still need to keep moving with your towel. I'm playing around with technique on how much to apply, and sometimes doing a second quick spritz if I have one side of the car that is baking in the sun more than others (due to the location of the sun in the sky). One thing I have added to my toolkit recently is a cheap hand spray bottle filled with distilled water. Sometimes I'll find a few small water spots I've missed, or perhaps a little bit of streaking on the windows. Spray it with distilled water and wipe with a clean microfiber - it's super quick and easy.

I decided to try this after looking up some info on it. I'm glad I did, this product goes a long way. I usually use it as a drying aid diluted 10:1. No water spots, helps make sure that the drying towel glides on the car. It also gives it a nice shine that stays on about a week maybe two depending on the weather. I also noticed that it helps with water hydrophobic on the car, it's a very grat item to have

Bought it to prevent water spots on my just washed car. Seems to work ok but I may have found a cheaper solution that's more readily available.

Say this all over you tube and thought to give it a try...works exactly like everyone said it would. Really puts a nice gloss on the car after washing. I just spray it own after washing while car is wet...then dry it with a towel or lawn blower and the car reall shines. Very pleased and compared to other such items it is inexpensive.

This stuff works great and it's super concentrated. I mix mine 10:1 and still works great. While the vehicle is still wet spay it on let it set minute rise off. If you was in direct sunlight this gives you time to dry before water spots appearing. I use a leaf blower and my vehicle is completely dry with no water spots. Just like car was places.

Waited for more than one month after I received the product, today I washed the car under direct sun. Diluted as instructed, spray a full 16Oz of liquid after the first rinse ( actually rinse, foam cannon applied and then this rinse). Was expecting no water spot after this but I was disappointed, Still sees some spots but can be easily wipe off with PS Paint Gloss (the car treated with graphene). Not sure if the easy off was the graphene's effect or , the product actually helps to reduce the water spot already...well, I guess I better wait for cloudy day to wash like before!

Ordered this for my husband who loves to wash his black SUV. We live in a community where we have hard water. When he washed his vehicle it would leave a residue from the water on his vehicle and it never looked like he wanted it too. Bought this hoping it would do the trick and it does work leaving his vehicle shiny and clean looking again. He’s very happy with this Product!!!

J’étais sceptique après avoir regardé une vidéo sur YouTube et j’ai tenté ma chance en cherchant sur Amazon le produit. Le prix est le double des Etats-unis en $ canadien, mais très raisonnable par lavage de voiture si on applique le ratio de mélange 1 pour 10. J’ai fait une tentative sur une portière de mon véhicule neuf noir qui n’a jamais eu de cirage. J’ai lavé au soleil, appliqué la cire, rincé et séché. Époustouflant résultat! J’ai alors fait la voiture entière. La durée de l’application écrite est de 1 semaine, mais j’ai lavé à nouveau sans en réappliquer et encore très beau!

I am on the fence for this one so far. I think it is working, I feel it may be more my application of the product. I am going to get a pump sprayer to try for a more evenly distributed application. Perhaps then it will not feel like I am going through so much of a bottle per vehicle. But I am not concerned about that as I know I put so little into the bottle at a time, it hardly makes a dent in the big bottle. I will try to update as I work out my kinks, but I think the products works.
