I have this one and a $10 version. Compared to the strap that’s many times less expensive, the VV strap:- has much better ends. the camera protectors on the cheap strap are cut, and scratchy and distracting when shooting through the OVF. VV’s are super high quality with rounded and glued edges. They clearly thought about this specific issue.- is a heavier strap. The cheap strap is about 30% thinner, has more spring, is less squishy, about the same rope-burniness, and has a slicker texture. The cheaper strap is softer. Overall I prefer the cheaper rope.Ideally I’d put the nice VV leather ends on the cheaper, thinner, and softer rope.
