The Beauty-Mark Hollywood is the perfect, versatile window/door awning that can be installed on homes/offices with low overhead clearance. It will also provide a nice look for those with plenty of overhead as well. The commercial grade cast aluminum arms and 4mm polycarbonate roof have been well designed for easy assembly and practical installation. The 36 inch projection will provide ample protection from rain, sleet and snow if you are using this as an entry awning or entrance canopy. This product is made in the USA and has been engineered and tested for hefty wind/snow loads.

78 inch wide Contemporary styled, Beauty Mark clear Patio door Canopy/awning.
Purchased as a canopy to overhang a 75" wide Jeldwin sliding patio door (architectural series, narrow stiles, contemporary look with larger glass area)/ to deflect rain away as my previous Pella, aluminum clad patio-door got rotted out at the bottom (despite clad in aluminum), from rain splashing off the patio deck.Purchased this via Amazon for $358/ approx versus $670/ listed on Houzz.com. Product is stated to be made in the USA. Polycarbonate clear canopy on 3 aluminum brackets. Polycarbonate lens are used in many sunglasses, headlight fairings on exotic sports cars like Ferrari, Aston Martin etc, and resistant to crazing, spider webbing etc from sunlight. Beauty Mark states the canopy is UV resistant. It looks like clear glass and the entire ensemble looks quite modern/contemporary and serves a distinct purpose. The product is well designed. I would have given 5 stars but for the following demerits: 1. A worthless assembly sheet with poor illustrations. I expected much better for a purportedly US made product. No written guidance. 2. One of the (2) long aluminum frames was supplied cut short by a quarter of an inch.3. The 4 tiny screws supplied that I guessed were to tie the 4 sections of aluminum frames together at the 4 corners, needed pilot holes drilled to work. I barely made it on the short cut section. Piss poor quality inspection if any before product leaves the manufacturer. More like a Chinese made product. 4. Stainless steel hardware supplied. But no rubber o rings or rubber washers supplied to mate the 3 brackets to the polycarbonate sheet. Sourced this myself from Home depot locally. 5. They used some cheap quality tape to wrap the edges on all 4 sides which took hours to remove the sticky residue using a soft cotton cloth dipped in kerosene. Do not use paint thinners or gasoline to remove the tape residue as it may damage the polycarbonate sheet. So be very careful. 6. This project is ongoing and not there yet. But getting there little by little as I have a lot else going on and this is taking a very long time just to pre-assemble prior to mounting which will be the easiest part but definitely needs a 2nd person to help support while I ensure canopy is level prior to lag bolting into a wood frame home.7. For the price I expect it to be a quick plug & play installation. It's not. And requires above average do it yourself technical skills and experience. Check back later when its installed/will be happy to send/post pictures. What attracted me to this is the alloy bracket base is shallow top to bottom/as I have limited overhead clearance. I devised wooden bracket bases x 3 consisting of 2x4"s & 2x8"s blocks, butted up together. Will post pics later to help understand my setup. I am sure it will serve it's purpose well and complement the contemporary look of the Jeldwin door once installed. And before I forget, right after I made this purchase via Amazon, the price shot up. Not cool.
