Great job filtering out cat litter dust
Does a great job filtering cat litter dust & smell, the HEPA filter adds another layer of protection, and lasts a long time even with 24-hour/7-days a week use. I've been buying these for years and will continue.

Works okay - relatively expensive, but ultimately worth it!
I got this to replace my original Alen HEPA filter. It fits in and works fine. But wow, it seemed so expensive for what you get! However, when you think about it, a HEPA filter system is essentially just a fan pushing air through a filter like this. So really, the filter IS the key part of the system. So you want it to be high quality to effectively filter out fire smoke, pet dander, pollen, etc. and this does that job just fine. It got me through the extreme fire smoke clouds of late Summer/Fall 2020.

This filter unit works great and and helps the spread of cold and flu in the home.
The unit and its filter replacement are so very easy to install. No muss or fuss and I like the automatic reorder which reminds me to change on schedule. I have allergies and this filter helps me during my difficult seasons.

Filters
I bought 3 Alen humidifiers for my 2000 square foot home years ago. I was buying my 3 filters from the Alen company. Well, then the company quit selling my humidifier. To find my filters became more difficult. When I did find them, the price was WAY more expensive, and it use to be, if I purchased 3 filters, the price was lower. I was paying $192 for 3 filters, NOW I'm paying closer to $300 for the exact filters. Not happy about that, but I'm not buying 3 new humidifiers just so I can find filters easier. The filters work great!!!! Just don't like the price increase!!!
