Easy on, easy off
This is so much easier to deal with than glue. Instead of having to apply sticky glue over several sessions/days, you just stick the tape to your rim, wrestle your tire over it, remove the protective film between the tape and the tire, and you're done. The process is so much more forgiving than glue - if you make a small mistake, it's super easy to correct it. For example centering the tire over the rim is super simple.Removing tires is reasonably easy too, there is far less clean-up work needed compared to glue. I should point out though that there is a certain amount of cleaning required, both after applying the tape and after taking off the tire. It's far less work than dealing with glue though.

Simple, effective just...
... a 23mm would be the best for the average recent tubular rim size! You basically have to trim the edge and a 21mm is just light too short.Tubular might be a old breed, but hey to to me they still feel so much better, and that counts something, right?

but so far so good. 2 races and numerous practices and no sign ...
Was a little skeptical, but so far so good. 2 races and numerous practices and no sign of my tires coming off. It's also super easy to install the tape and tires, did my wheel set in under a half an hour. Leonard Zinn has a video (search on velonews, I think??) where he shows you how.

Seems like great stuff
Seems like great stuff. I've been riding a set of road and a set of CX tires mounted with this stuff. Way easier to mount than gluing them up. Seem very secure. Haven't had any problems at all. I really like this stuff.

Great for front, rear if you are lighter. Road use should be fine.
Works for my front tires, but I rolled two rears. At 195lb, I think this just isn't strong enough in the rear for off cambers in cyclocross. I followed all of the directions, but there just isn't enough stickiness to hold. I gave up after my second rolled tire and went back to Mastic One.If you are lighter, it might be great. The front has been easy.Clean up is so fantastic compared to traditional tape and mastic. The glue just pulls off effortless and you are ready to mount immediately.

Caronga tubular gluing tape works as well or better than anything else I've used
Been gluing and taping tubular tires to rims since the mid-1970s. Caronga tubular gluing tape works as well or better than anything else I've used. Holds the tire as well as any glue and gluing method and it cleans up much easier than glue. Also it is much easier to align the tire to the rim during installation than glue or other tapes. Highly recommended.

Don’t waste your time and money
Don’t waste your time and money. I used the Carogna glue remover to completely clean a set of HED Belgium wheels and then mounted a set of new CX Racing Ralphs with the tape following the instructions and video. Installation was quick and easy, and after allowing them to sit for almost 2 days the tires seemed to be adhered extremely well. Both tires rolled of the rim on a dry grass side hill, the front in 2 places and the rear completely, with 26psi front and 28psi rear. Tape may be ok for road applications but cannot handle CX.
