Nutrition - Slim Bar Brownie Crunch - 1.59 oz(Pack of 12)

I love these bars. They are not brownie like at all, not chewie like a brownie. However, that is why I like them. They are kinda dry with a strong chocolate taste. They are very unique with a grown up taste. They are pretty low in sugar and fat so it's a win win if you like the taste.

I've been ordering Nu Go Slim Brownie for a long time. Initially it came fresh then starting to arrive with discoloring and hard like it had been frozen and defrosted. It came fresh this time and it tastes like it did initially. I hope it continues. I'd like to find out if this is from Amazon or third party so I know who to order from.

I liked the Bar, but lacking in taste. In a pinch just ok.....

When bought from another seller the product itself is actually very tasty and at the same time extremely healthy. I love the protein and fiber content and in particular the relatively low sugar, despite which the product is very good. Particularly with coffee. However, as you can see from the attached pictures the product as received is nothing like what I am used to getting when I buy this in stores. The entirety is covered in a white film and the bar has multiple spots showing through neither of which is consistent with the good quality bars I've purchased at the supermarket. Likewise, when I get off a piece at the end to see if perhaps it was just visually unappealing but actually edible, I quickly determined that it was in fact inedible as it was stiff as a board and some of the little crunchy bits inside that normally look Brown instead appear slightly green. I have to assume that the product was either not stored properly or otherwise from an old batch, though the expiration date on the individual bars reads November 2018. I would have contacted the seller directly to see if this is just a fluke that can be corrected rather than writing a review, but even though the product was just bought a few days ago there is no return option allowed and no apparent way to contact the seller about it either.

I like the expresso and chocolate mint flavors. They hit the spot and keep your energy without making you feel sluggish later.

I love the flavor and texture of these. I have one every day with my coffee and it fills me up!.

Good bars with low carbs and sugar. Good for diabetics as does not seem to have negative impact on sugar.
