Review: A special dog treat - My dog loves these. He's small but a bit of a chewer and there's times he'll just rip apart things like toys, socks and shoes so we have to keep repairing his toys or replacing them and make sure socks and shoes are out of his reach. He goes through chew sticks very quickly too. These also don't last long but they provide a good amount of entertainment for him to try to rip to pieces and help sate his desire to chew when he gets into chewing mode. I only give these every couple of days so he doesn't get porky. Everything about these is great - except for the smell! Even in the bag when it was sealed you could smell it halfway across the room. Yeah I don't expect bits of dead carcass to smell nice even more so when air dried, but it drives the dog crazy so I guess he likes it. Edit: Further info on this. I now have 2 dogs - my first is 2.5 years' old and the other is 7 months old. The puppy kit is great for the young pup since he's quite the chewer (he stole and demolished a rawhide bone in less than an hour when he was just 3 months old!) but the chews are strong enough that he gets to spend a good amount of time on them. The older dog however is now in a habit of demolishing stuff like jerky sticks in seconds despite being a small dog so the stuff in the easy chew kit is wasted in seconds. My husband once bought them a pig's ear each a couple of months ago and it took them both time to chew them down so I will probably upgrade to the power chew kit for him. Review: Picky GSD Approves - I have a picky German Shepherd. Always struggle with packs like this as he turns his nose up at half of them but this is the first he's really enjoyed everything. Along with being generally picky he also has a very sensitive stomach but we've had no trouble with these at all. Takes himself to the corner and munches away for a while with a content expression on his face (if i sound envious, it's because I absolutely am). I let him pick what he wants from the box as a once in a while big treat for traumatic evens like baths or trimming paw hairs. They last for varying amounts of time, between 20 minutes and a few hours, which was as expected. There's some smell but I think its a positive sign of natural treats like this, nothing that can't be overcome with a sealable bag. These are our new go to for longer lasting treats. Natural and enjoyable. ## Features - NATURAL DOG CHEWS LONG LASTING – The perfect choice for puppy treats and chews (from 16 weeks) and powerful chewers, our dog treat boxes contain air dried, tough, natural chew sticks to keep your dog occupied and happy for a long time. - VARIETY OF NATURAL DOG CHEWS – Try a great range of dried natural treats in our dog selection boxes from beef scalp to deer hide to camel scalp chews. I stored them in the shed, whilst I awaited for the arrival of my pup, it got pretty in there. Will they still be ok?** A: We wouldn’t recommend storing them in extreme temperatures of high or low, keeping them in a cool dry place in their resealable bag or a resealable tub and they’ll be fine! If there was no condensation in the bag they should be fine. Dragonfly Products **Q: which selection would be best for a five month old labrador please? She has some adult teeth and some baby teeth.** A: Go with the Puppy Chew Pack - everything is geared up for her age. Brilliant mix of teething chews and just general treats! **Q: Does it come with a list of what has been included in the pack when it arrives?** A: No as they change regularly but you are more than welcome to contact us for us to identify the items you have in the bag you receive. **Q: What age puppy is this recommended for?** A: I'm not 100% sure but my dog trainer recommended them. We first gave them to our Labrador when he was around 6months I'd say, although he had pizzle sticks way before then probably at 3months. I guess it also depends on the breed/size of your dog and how good s/he is at chewing. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A special dog treat *by L***I on 18 July 2021* My dog loves these.
