If I was still shooting with a Sony camera, I would still own one of these. Great build quality and well designed with lots of attachment points.

I absolutely love this cage. It allows me to rig things up for photography and videography purposes, such as an extra handle, video light, microphone, and etc. I also love the way it feels in my hands as well.

Great quality and prize

Picked this up for shooting movement in gym workouts and boxing workouts. This has made it easier to move and control the camera with less shaking. Well made and easy to mount mic.

Loved the price of this rig and with no reviews I decided to take the leap. To my surprise it was very well made. It fit my A7iii perfectly. The battery compartment opening is aligned just right. I use this rig primarily for filming. If you’re planning on switching back and forth between video and photo I would suggest getting one with the quick release handle. This one is bolted on, very securely I might add. I’ve bumped this rig on the floor and even other metal objects while filming and it’s done an excellent job of protecting the camera.

There is too much horizontal and rotational play, the camera flexes, putting stress on the threads of the plate mount. It is crafted well but, engineering missed the boat on the amount of play between the camera body and the cage. It will cause a soft focus in certain situations because there is camera movement. This is the only reason I give it a three for both value and overall. I have made my living shooting both video and stills for 44 years. To truly be quality, there must be zero movement between the cage and the camera body. As a wildlife photographer, I only get one shot to get it right. The pictures were taken with my Sony a7iii mounted to the cage.

The media could not be loaded. I use this every day for filming while fishing. It’s so rad for filming low angle! If you’re doing anything like skateboarding or bmx as welll this would be great for those things! You cannot beat the price and you can add accessories all over the dang thing!
