Our birds love these the best and great price
Because these are so well priced, I was afraid of low quality, filler ingredients, and they might be, but having cycled through about 3 or 4 brands, including locally made ones, I swear none bring the variety or quantity of birds these cakes bring. It really seems not even close. I also end up with no mess, there is not a pile of anything under it, granted it might be the chipmunks that keep all that cleaned up.

Good turnout at your feeder
This product comes individually wrapped. I use the plastic trays I had from individual tray purchases. My woodpeckers love it. Good quality, priced right and delivered to your door.

Birds love it.
The birds love this suet. I get Northern Flickers and curved billed thrashers. But the suet holds up during the Arizona heat.

Perfect for the RIGHT season
As I read the reviews I see many people are having trouble with attracting birds to this product. I would have those people pay attention to when they are using this product in their local area. Here in Texas, I only use these suet cakes in the winter because birds generally have a higher energetic requirement in the winter compared to the summer (huge generalization). In the summertime, this product I would assume has too much fat content and/or is not necessary for birds in the summer. They never come to it in the summer. What I have noticed is that my suet feeder does not attract all birds but definitely attracts some birds versus others. I live in a super urban area and my background count is literally no more than 15 species (except flyovers). Here, I find that Northern Mockingbirds, House Sparrows (duh) will always come to the suet ... but only in the winter. Our winter residents like yellow-rumped warblers and orange-crowned warblers also love these. I have seen a downy woodpecker on it once but they tend to prefer the peanut butter suet. Ultimately, I love this product because its easy and makes our urban birds lives easier to get through our 'frigid' texas winters. They are shelf-stable and have a long shelf-life.

Happy birds and a good value
I'm on my 4th or 5th box over the last couple years and am a satisfied customer. The packaging holds up in outside storage and the blocks hold together well. The birds seem to love the product as it steadily disappears and there is usually a bird or two around the feeders. The mocking birds , house finches and wrens seem to be the biggest consumers. Expecially when there are babies to be fed. The price is right, through Amazon it runs less than what I can get at the local Walmart.

Birds love them
The birds in my yard love these Suet Cakes. Buying them in bulk of 20 is a good savings, at the time of my purchase.
