Large 8 Pin Din Male-Male 25 ft Foot Cable Audio Midi Wire 25 feet for Peavey Sanpera Pedal

I have a Rivera Stage IV guitar amp and the stock footswitch cable is 15 feet long. Usually fine for love gigs. I play in a church setting where we keep our amps off stage and isolated and mic’d (we still prefer tube amps to running direct like many do), which means 15ft won’t cut it. The amp has a killer drive channel (2) in addition to the clean channel 1. So I need the footswitch but it’s an unusual 8-pin. I searched the Internet and bought two of these together with connectors, and now I can switch the channels and boost and turn tremolo on/off from a long way away. This cable works great for this unique application. Happy to find it.I was desperate and even contacted the amp builder in CA and they didn’t have a suggestion short of them custom-building me a whole new footswitch which would cost a lot and take months. Found this and thought it was worth a shot. It works.

Not the highest quality cable I've used, but it does function. Hopefully will update in several months that it's still going strong.Update: So far the cable has held up excellently. Been lugged around quite a bit, coiled, tossed in a gig bag, and everything is good. The strain relief has not had any issues. My only continued concern is that the shielding is still very stiff which does make transporting it a pain. I'd say if you're using this primarily in a studio GO FOR IT! Otherwise, spring the extra $$ for a more flexible cable. It's doing the job great for me serving double duty doing about half of each!

It's a quality cable and does what it should.

Other than being a little stiffer than I like it works great does what it's supposed to I use it to connect my pedal to my amp have no problems with it at all

Well made & works like a champ with my Mesa Boogie RoadKing & King Kontroller.

Seems like a good quality cable but when used with Peavey Transformer series amps creates an audible ground loop hum or some type of hum. Out of the very few 8 pin midi cables I've tried so far it creates the least hum. It would be really Audible if you were trying to record. With the original midi cable the amp is dead silent. The Peavey Transformer series amps are probably 20 yrs old and discontinued so finding a cable that will control the pfc-4 foot controller is very difficult. I think the original cable are no longer in production. Hope that helps someone.

Works great with Sanpera pedal.

A little cheaper quality make than what Mesa sells, but it's CHEAPER in price by a lot! It works 100% and for the money even if it only lasts 80% as long as the original, you've still saved money.
