Watch out for false information from other reviewers.
Foolishly bought this little vice after seeing in the reviews that it actually takes up to 3.2 drill bits not 1mm, this is in fact false and the vice will only take up to 1mm bits as stated. Don't make my mistake and trust the product description over reviews!

Great quality
It always pays to buy good quality tools, this Tamiya item is no exception. Only criticism I have is that of the description on Amazon - with the reversible chuck it will take drill bits up to 3.2mm which makes it far more versatile.

It is OK. 1mm of runout 1cm out.
Far better than all the cheap chinese knock-offs. I tried one of those and had 2.5mm runout, which is terrible given the width of the drill bits was 0.5mm. This one achieved 1mm which is much much better. I was expecting better from a made in Japan product though, especially one speced to hold down to 0.1mm drill bits.

Tamiya Pin Vise - Holds #80 Drill Bits
Excellent pin vise which will hold down to #80 drill bits. Less expensive pin vises will not, so skip those and buy one which actually will.
