Kinda hard for kids to close
I like these. They are a good size, but they are difficult for little hands to close. Good seal though.

Not as good as Bentgo
I have a bunch of these and a bunch of Bentgo. Bottom line you get what you pay for...I had had some of these for 6 months now and they tend to warp over time and become more difficult to close and stay sealed. The havent leaked yet but I can see its coming. Meanwhile my more expensive Bentgo are still going strong no warping no difficulty closing. I would recommend these ones for adults or teens only. Do not give to a small child they are harder for them to close.

Locking the lid in place
I really wanted to love it. Just two little issues that are kid of annoying to me. It is definitely not spill proof. It might now leave outside of the box but it will leak within. I had put apple sauce, veggies, and a sandwich. The apple sauce leaked over onto everything and left the sandwich so soggy. It won’t keep food cold but it will stop it from getting stale. Like bread and crackers. I do like the portioning. The lid puts up a fight sometimes when you go to lock it in place. I’ve learned to just push down on the top and then clasp it in. I don’t over stuff at all I make sure there’s about half an inch of space between the lid and food. Other wise the spoons are a great addition. My kid loves the colors. I still haven’t figured out how to separate the bottom tray from what it’s sitting on. I could’ve sworn everything comes apart to be washed correctly. All in all - it’s good for on the go.

Special heating and washing instructions. Doesn't fit into normal lunch bags.
I've only had these for a few weeks. I have to say that these do warp if put into the dishwasher as other reviews state. One of the lids accidently went into the dishwasher by my son and it did warp slightly even on the top rack. We have my used anything with liquid in these yet to know if they leak. The lids detach and the inside comes out so that it can go into the microwave without warping the lids. This does not fit into normal sized or even slightly larger lunch boxes and because of its flat design, it needs to be stood on its side to go into a bookbag... So leak proof will be important. We bought a different set of lunch containers that fit into normal lunch boxes, but these ones will most likely get used when liquid is on the menu. The portion size is actually just meeting my 5 year old's needs. With a growth spurt... I'll have to pack two. It's a little odd trying to get American style lunches into them, but I can imagine these being great for Asian style meals. Half sandwiches fit, but it's tricky. Whole sandwiches do not fit... Unless you maybe cut it up into random sized pieces. I updated this review to include a lunch box I found that this fits into. I found it at Costco and it can be carried 3 different ways and even straps to a book bag, has an ice pack, and came with its own containers. Every style of container shown in my photos fits in this bag. I can't say enough great things about it. I think the brand is ultra artic zone original.

It was good while it last
I’m not the type to tend to write reviews but for this I had to. I bought it in the beginning of the school year and it’s already broken. Pretty disappointed because it’s a really awesome lunchbox. the boys use it every day but now I have to spend another $25 - $30 to get another one. I would’ve hope this will last me a lot longer

Um....No
I was hesitant to buy this lunch set, but it seemed affordable, so I decided to try it for my 5 year old kindergartener. I usually serve dinner leftovers for lunch, so I was looking for something that would keep the food warm since she won’t have access to a microwave at school. What I like: The felt bag is soft and the bento box seems well made. I like that it saves me from having to use plastic baggies to pack food in. The removable tray makes it easy to wash. It comes with a fork and spoon. What I don’t like: The felt bag is not very exciting for a five year old girly girl; it looks plain and masculine. I suppose you could add a patch or other decoration. I need the food to stay warm about 3.5 hours. I tested the temperature at home (see pictures), and it definitely did not keep the food warm for that length of time. The zipper on the felt bag doesn’t always move easily. The removable tray got stuck to the top of the box, which would be very frustrating for my young student. I realize most people probably don’t pack sandwiches in this type of box, but I was curious if one would fit. You can see in the picture that half a sandwich fits; top might get a little smooshed. I returned this item.

Great bento style container, but lid warps
These boxes are a great size and would easily work for an older child or adult. I purchased them for my elementary age daughter. They are easy to use, easy to clean, and seem durable. My only complaint is that the lids seem to have warped slightly and they have only been hand washed. We ended up finding another box that she likes better, but we will use these for her feeding therapy. So far, I haven't noticed any leaking and food has stayed crispy inside (we had cheese crackers and graham crackers in 2 different spaces and Nutella in another space), so they must have a good seal.
