I had misplaced my original key, so I used my house key (which does have grooves in it) to unlock the towel dispenser, and lock it back after I put the paper towels in it. JUST BEWARE-IF YOUR HOUSE KEY HAS TO BE FORCED DOWN INTO THE DISPENSER KEY SLOT, THEN IT IS TOO BIG, SO DON'T FORCE IT-JUST TRY ANOTHER smaller KEY, BECAUSE THIS IS SUPER SIMPLE, AND YOU WILL NOT BREAK THE TOWEL DISPENCER KEY HOLE IF YOU USE THE PROPER SIZE HOUSE KEY. Everyone who comes to my house thinks that this paper towel dispenser in my guest bathroom is cool. I like it because I don't have to keep changing cloth towels.

I have purchased three of these dispensers this past year, and I am buying another one today. They look good and function well. I have read in some reviews that people were having problems with the units staying closed, but I haven't had any issue with my dispensers. Here is what I have found works best. --After refilling, as you close the unit, hold the key in the unlocked position until it is completely closed, then (while still holding the unit closed) turn the key to lock it. If the key doesn't want to turn all the way, I have found that a towel is usually in the way. When it is closed/locked correctly, you will hear a click and feel it with the key. (I hope that helps!)-- I have these in the kitchen and two bathrooms; this latest unit is for the garage. Oh...and installation is super easy! Love them!

I really like this product! Clean, modern, white, unobtrusive, sanitary (though I do wish the name on front was a little less blatant). It I prefer this type of dispenser to the little open boxes, which are cheaper, because it helps keep off dust and germs better. In these times where you are encouraged to wash your hands more frequently, it saves laundry costs for cloth towels, and I find a single paper towel dries my hands just fine. It is a bit industrial looking, but not overly so, and takes up less room than others I shopped.

What an amazing contraption! Today’s technology never ceases to surprise me! Before, we used to keep a pair of scissors in the bathroom to cut off a piece of cloth to use to wipe our hands, but now, I can just pull down on the paper towel to dispense it! Whoever invented this device was truly a genius and a servant of mankind! They have saved me so much money from not having to buy a new cloth every week! 5 stars all around!

My husband thought I was crazy when this arrived, but I like the idea of guests not using and reusing a hand towel (gross) in our powder room. It might not be the perfect "look" but the functionality is worth it. I considered other wooden options, but the reviews were all over the place, so I opted for this one in white. I can't wait to install it. There are three hanging nails, so getting this on the wall straight might be a challenge, but I'm pretty sure we'll be able to open the dispenser and mark the wall through the holes in the back of the unit. I know my guests will love this and I am anticipating many comments about this once we're allowed to have company if this pandemic ever ends.

The media could not be loaded. This is the second dispenser we purchased and we couldn’t be happier with this one! It is so easy to pull the paper towel out! You can do it with one hand! And the size is perfect. It appeared bulky in the photo at first but it really isn’t! I was very surprised when we received it because it was smaller than what I imagined. I didn’t want to buy something that looked like Those you would see in a commercial toilet. Perfect for home use! I highly recommend!

I've had a few surgeries in the last year, and I always worry about germs on the paper towel rolls... this solved it. Everyone that comes over is amazed at how sleek and small it is. I use the kleenex brand paper towels and it's better than anything! It fits in well with the bathroom without looking tacky. I attached it with 3m tape, and I don't think it's ever moving lol.
