Prolly close enough. My steerer tube is 1 and 1/8 inch, or about 28mm. It is the 45 degree angle that seats on the snap ring that hold the bearing centered so it should work. **Q: does this work on a tapered steerer tube? If so how do i put it on?** A: Yes it is for 41mm outer diameter frame and fits 1-1/2” to 1-1/8” tapered steerer. It will fit existing 10/40/110 series Cane Creek headsets. To swap out you need to remove top cap, remove stem and any spacers, the dust seal and then retaining clip. Then the old bearing should slide off and new bearing on. The old bearings had the label "MH-PO3M" etched into the sides. I tried twice to order from other suppliers using this information and twice I was promised my order was on the way, but later it never delivered. I ordered this based on Amazon's suggestion for "related products" after I read some of the reviews that said it fit their Trek. I feel like there was a lot of luck involved in my choice. I am writing this hoping to help someone in a similar situation. Please don't start asking me "Will this fit my......(fill in the blank). I will not answer. I am only saying it is an exact fit for "MH-PO3M and I don't know what is in your headset. Can't tell how long it lasts or anything like that because I just installed them. My headset is not tapered, so I ordered 2 same size.
