Daniel's Day at the Beach (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood) Board book – May 5, 2015

My little girl is so entranced by Daniel Tiger. She has so many stuffed animals and books of Daniel Tiger and when I showed her this book she was so excited! We were about to go to Cali for a family vacation and we were going to spend a lot of time at the beach! I thought this would be such a fun little book to get her familiar with the beach and to get her involved and excited about it all and it worked perfectly! In fact I still carry it in my purse and bust it out when she's getting antsy and it even comes in handy to keep my niece and nephews entertained! The book is a sturdy cardboard book and the front cover is a little bit puffy and makes it easier for their little hands to hold onto it. It's a great size. Not to big, not too small. Small enough to throw in your bag but big enough to not lose it in the black hole that is a diaper bag! She loves reading it to her kitties and her cousin too! The story is adorable and also teaches you a little lesson which is what I love most about Daniel Tiger. It teaches you to stay close to your parents/guardian and "Stop and listen to stay safe". We're very familiar with all the episodes and all of the songs so she was able to connect that song to the new book and it helped her to grasp the concept and follow the rules while we were at the beach. My 11 month old daughter loves this book. She’s able to ‘read’ it on her own. Very educational when it comes to listening to Mom. Very colorful. Holding up nicely. Great story.

We love Daniel tiger at our house! My 20 month old would watch him all day if we let her! This book is cute and a good length, I think we will be enjoying this one for several years!

My 1 year old is DT crazy, she loves the book. Durable board book, lots to look at and simple story for younger toddlers, but not too simple - my 3 year old can also stay interested for the short story. It's a cute book for the little Daniel Tiger fan in your life.

Cute book, and the "find the ____ (seashell, beach ball, sunblock, etc)" page in the back adds more entertainment as the kid gets older. My daughter has liked this book from age 1-3.

This book is small, so the font is going tiny as well. I didn’t realize this was not the normal size board book. As much as the story is cute, I would recommended getting the bigger board books.Still, my daughter likes the story and the illustration, so we kept it. It’s perfect to pack for traveling.

My granddaughter Malika loves this book, she was so excited to receive this in the mail. Daniel is a favorite in our house.
