iKristin Shiatsu Shoulder Neck Massager with Heat, Black

For months I've battled tightness is my neck and upper back. Today I used this. Boy it was painful whilst it massaged the knots but I'm 80% better already. Its a life changing product.

This little bit of kit absolutely blew me away ! I’d read the reviews but honestly thought how good could it be considering the low price point. I’ve always struggled with my neck and shoulders and I could hear the knots being crunched out when I started using this - it’s incredible! It really kneads and works out tension and the amount of pressure is fantastic! Some might find it painful on full strength but it really gets the job done ! It’s also comfortable to wear and you can sit anywhere to use it - bed, chair, sofa ect. I’m honestly so impressed by this I will be gifting to family at birthdays ect this year. The heating element is a nice touch and pleasurable and I found I could roll this down my back to reach other sore spots and it gets right under my shoulder blades. 5* product ! I need to update this review - I also purchased a foot massager for £130 that was sadly disappointing but I decided to try my feet on this and wow ! Pop your foot in the middle of this machine and let it work its magic ! It’s 10 times better than the expensive machine I bought. Absolute bliss.

This is the first massager I’ve ever bought, so can’t compare with others. I only bought it because I got it cheaper in the sales, (£28) I’m 5’7”, small framed and this works fine with me. It’s a bit bulky, but seems well made. The heat function as others have mentioned doesn’t really get that hot, mildly warm at best I’d say. But the massage function feels really good once you work out how to use it properly. It feels REALLY good when massaging the back of your neck (especially if you tilt your head forward with the massager sitting on top of your neck), and good for massaging shoulders, working all the way down the back. I soon worked out the more you pull on the hangers/sleeves the more deep/intense the massage. It can get painful if you pull too hard on the hangers/sleeves. If you want a nice relaxing, therapeutic massage, pull the hangers/sleeves gently. If you need a more intense massage pull the hangers/sleeves harder. Just sit forward with the massager in place, pull the hangers/sleeves and move your hands and arms around a bit to find where you want the pressure applied, and also how much pressure you actually want applying. You can make the massage as soft or as hard as you like using this technique. The pics are misleading as you can’t see the power cable in any pic, suggesting it’s cordless/rechargeable. But it’s not. In the product description write up it clearly states it’s an electric corded device. This is not a rechargeable product. It works with a power lead plugged into a wall socket and connected to the massager while you use it! I’ve used it several times to date. If I run into any future problems or I find out how fantastic it is at sorting out tension/stress/aching muscles I will be sure to update this review. So far after a little massage session I definitely feel better. But I haven’t used it yet when I’ve had tension/stress/aching muscles, because I haven’t had any such problems since I’ve had this device. They’ll come sooner or later. From what I have seen and experienced so far this product would make a good Xmas present. *update* 7th April 2024 As promised I said I would update if I experienced something different. I’m still using it regularly and it’s still working good with no visible signs of wear. The other day I had terrible tension/stress in my upper back and neck caused by looking down for long periods. (I was actually doing a jigsaw and really got into it 😁, but I was bending my head, looking down for 12 hours 2 days on the trot). And the inevitable happened. Anyway I used my massager for about 20 mins and I was instantly cured. Fantastic, I would now give this product 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I love this! The settings are easy to use, the handles help you adjust location and pressure easily. Really helps when you need to get rid of tension or simply to relax. Some might find it helps to put a thin blanket between you and the massager as it can hurt directly on skin if you are sensitive. Highly recommend.

I use this massager every day, mainly on my neck, shoulders and back, and I’ve been really impressed with it. What surprised me most is how strong the massage feels. The rotating massage points actually give the sensation of hands working into the muscles, and they’re not afraid to apply some pressure! I prefer a fairly strong massage, so this works very well for me. The heat gives off a gentle warmth rather than becoming extremely hot, which I actually like. I sometimes use it alongside Aboniki rub, and I find the combination of the warmth and massage particularly enjoyable. The massage itself is definitely strong enough for me and is one of the main reasons I use it so regularly. My only criticism is that it needs to remain plugged in while you’re using it. I’d love a rechargeable version that allowed me to walk around rather than having to stay close to a socket. Apart from that, I’m extremely pleased with it. 5/5. I would 100% recommend it.

Stopped working after 6 months but did the job when worked

As much as I adore my hubby, when it comes to unwinding after a long, stressful day, I've found a companion that's a tad more... efficient. Yes, I'm talking about my neck and back massager. Before you judge me, let me explain my reasons why: 1. Always Available, No Appointments Needed: Unlike my husband, who needs a 48-hour notice and a calendar invite to give me a 10-minute shoulder rub, my massager is always there for me. Rain or shine, day or night, it’s ready to go. No scheduling conflicts or reminders needed. 2. No Complaints About Hand Cramps: My massager never complains about hand cramps or being tired. It's almost as if it enjoys its job, tirelessly working out the knots in my back without a single sigh of annoyance or a request for a favour in return. 3. Precision and Consistency: Let's face it, the massager hits the right spots every single time. It's like it knows my body better than I do! My husband, bless his heart, sometimes massages my elbow thinking it's going to relieve my neck pain. 4. Silent Worker: The beauty of technology is its ability to work quietly. My massager hums softly, adding to the relaxation. Meanwhile, my husband's version of silence is narrating every move and asking if he's doing it right every two seconds. 5. Doesn't Get Distracted: Ever had a back rub turn into a discussions about the in-laws? Well, my massager stays on task, keeping its 'hands' to itself and its 'mind' on the mission. 6. Easy to Store: When I'm done, I can easily tuck my massager away in a drawer. If only it were that easy to find a place for my husband when he starts snoring on the couch... For all the reasons above, it's only fair I recommend this item. Of course, nothing beats the warmth and love of my hubby, but until he upgrades his skills or grows a couple more hands, my massager and I will be spending quite a bit of quality time together.

I suffer from dizziness and vertigo which seems to emanate from tension in the back of my neck. I thought this massager might help. However, I think it just made things worse. It’s very uncomfortable when in use, not relaxing at all. The machine is very bulky and heavy, it was impossible to get it in the right position on my neck to effectively massage the area. You end up with your arms in the air trying to hold it in position! It states on the listing “enjoy a private massage anytime, anywhere” this is impossible unless you are within a few feet of an electrical socket! Ineffective for intended purpose – neck massage, therefore returned.
