Great tool
These are great for visual learners, kiddos who struggle with math, and can be used for factoring, combining like terms, and solving for x.

Magnetic, easy to store, and students find them fascinating in Algebra
I really like these! I'm learning how to teach Algebra visually and these magnetic blocks are a lot of fun and easy to story.

The order was quickly filled and shipped.
I am pleased with the purchase but would like to offer some constructive advice to the maker/seller. There are no Y-squared tiles, no y-tiles, and no xy-tiles. The set I have will be great for solving quadratics but won't be useful for demonstrating two-variable equations. Please let me know if you make a set the does contain those tiles.

Great manipulatives
Great set of magnetic algebra tiles. The size is perfect and the magnets adhere well to my board. I highly recommend these for concrete manipulatives to help students learn algebraic thinking in a hands on way.

Useful and easy
Very nice glide on the magnetic side, clear colors so that my students can see them from far away. Very useful when trying to show inverse operations when solving one step or two step equations. Awesome!

Nothing like what is shown in picture
Nothing like what is shown in picture. But still good tiles for teaching. Only came with one set for the white board.

Great for Demonstrations!
Using these in Summer school and can’t wait to use them in my classes in the fall! Great for teacher demonstration or for having students come to board to work. Magnets are a great strength! I will most likely purchase another set before school starts just to have more tiles!

Great!
I love these! I use base ten blocks whenever I can in class. It was great to have these accessible on my magnetic white board for the whole class to see. Sometimes it’s just easier to use the whiteboard than the smart board.

Disappointing flaws lead to student confusion
Ideally the unit size and the "x" size on the algebra tiles should not have a simple common multiple... otherwise in making the "rectangle" for the factoring of a polynomial students will try to match the 'x' side with a number of units. As shown in the photo, an "x" length is almost exactly 5 units in this set. This has caused significant confusion for my students, though one can "head it off" if aware of the issue. But it is very disappointing that this design has this flaw. I will have to make my own I guess and perhaps you should too.
