Takes a bit to break in cause they are solid boots! Boots will only be blister free when they are broke in! If you throw a performance hiking boots like this on and go for an actual hike or backpacking trip without sifting the midsole and leathers a bit and warming up the liner a handful of times to shake the boot your getting blisters! These boots hurt my bigger foot for a bit then I soaked them in hot water and put them on and wore them all day like that, not they fit like a glove and I forget I’m wearing them! I love this company I have 2 pairs of CTC approach shoes I use building houses! Been a diehard Asolo man till now!

I have most all of the Salewa boot styles. They are all very comfortable, but these are especially comfy. I normally wear a 12 in mens boot. I purchase all Salewa’s a 1/2 to full size up. (12.5) They are pricey, but we’ll worth the extra money!! They also look totally bad ass!! I get people stopping me all the time to find out what they are. Go for it!!

Consigliare le scarpe è sempre difficile perché dipende un po' dal piede che si ha e dal modello che si sceglie. Nel mio caso è in questa scelta sono anni che le adopero basse e alte e sono la cosa più comoda che possa aver scoperto quelle basse le uso anche d'inverno tutti i giorni al posto delle scarpe da ginnastica per capirci la montagna è un po' l'ultimo dei posti dove vado anche se ci vado... Ma sicuramente il meglio di loro lo danno il sentiero perché al contrario delle scarpe da ginnastica tutti i giorni il sentiero non senti nulla sotto con una scarpa da ginnastica e da pazzi andare in montagna...

Gekauft habe ich diesen Schuh für meine täglichen "Spaziergänge" im Berg und längere Hüttentouren. Vor der ersten Hüttentour habe ich den Schuh ca. 2 Wochen eingelaufen und habe ihn dann direkt unter Vollbelastung im Triglav Nationalpark benutzt, sodass ich eigentliche keine "richtige" Einlaufzeit hatte. Doch von Blasen oder Spuren am Fuß war absolut nichts zu sehen, der Schuh sitzt einfach perfekt und bietet optimalen Halt. Das Material ist sehr hochwertig, alle Nähte und Verklebungen sind ohne Lücke verarbeitet und gewährleisten so auch kurze Strecken durch Bäche oder Pfützen. Die Sohle ist schön hoch, sodass nicht jede Pfütze an das Leder kommt und man einfach darüber hinweglaufen kann. Auch der Mittelteil ist gut ausgehöhlt und kleinere Stöcke und Steine sind in der Fußmitte nicht zu spüren. Lediglich auf hartem Untergrund fällt auf, dass das Abrollverhalten bei dem recht harten Material etwas eingeschränkt ist und da ein weicherer Schuh natürlich angenehmer sein kann. Für etwas unebenere Wege mit wackeligem Untergrund ist der Salewa aber uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Lediglich die Schnürsenkel könnten etwas mehr Halt bieten, hier darf man gerne 2x Knoten und eine andere Wanderschnürung benutzen. Ansonsten bietet der Schuh perfekten Halt, sitzt von Anfang an einfach nur perfekt und die beschriebenen Funktionen wie 3f-System, Schnürung und Sohle alle optimale Eigenschaften aufweisen. Für mich ein empfehlenswerter Schuh, von dem ich direkt begeistert war.

Sohle: Griffig. Stabil. Wenig Verwindung Schaft: Gute Verarbeitung. Stabile Nähte. Stabile Schnürsenkelösen und Schnürsenkel. Schnürung bis in den Zehenbereich gibt für schlanke und flache Füße gute Stabilität. Innensohle: Schuh hat Größe 46 2/3- Innensohle Größe 45-fehlen 1,5 cm. Dämpfung...Null bei 4 mm Dicke. Hier erwartet man eigentlich eine bessere Einlage. Um hier einen besseren Komfort zu erreichen...Einlegesohlen aus dem Zubehör dazukaufen. Engelbert Strauss. Zunge: Könnte 2-3 cm länger sein. Hier entstehen leichte Druckstellen. Die längere Zunge hätte die Möglichkeit, dass der Schnürsenkel in einer zusätzlichen Tasche versteckt werden könnte. Auf Dauer zu empfehlen: Nach dem tragen unbedingt Innensohle zum Trocknen raus. Feuchtigkeit und etwas Staunässe sammeln sich im Innenschuh. Über die Farbgestaltung muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Dezent in Grau und rot. Oder in Blau und auffallend. Wasserdicht...zumindest von innen nach außen. Andersrum erfolgte der Test noch nicht.

I bought these boots 18months ago after they were recommended to me.very very comfortable and very solid under foot ,but I was very disappointed that they split between soul and upper,I tried emailing and writing a year ago without response,but now they are only useable on very dry solid ground, because if you go on sand ,pebbles they get in through the splits on both boots,and if I go in long wet grass or undergrowth the water gets straight in ,so on the whole I'm quite disappointed as they are not cheap boots

Quality 3 season boots, with a sturdy feel and a semi-technical sole. Very good traction on all types of terrain, supportive and protective and it keeps the water away pretty good. The downside is the overall weight and the hiking comfort, which is just average. I would recommend the salewa's for hiking on steep and more difficult terrain in the mountains, backpacking, scrambling and easy climbing (cold season). Not for maintained easy trails, due to the profile of the sole which is quite stiff and its deep lugs which can feel clunky on flat terrain.Good quality and durability product , fit for colder seasons in the mountains on more technical and difficult terrain.
