Are these actually gold over sterling silver/vermeil?

It’s gold plated.like it says..I can tell you this, they are super cute! and lasted for quite awhile before they got dingy,,, I wore them everywhere, everyday ,,,just to see,, how long they lasted, I showered & bathed with them..that’s why they didn’t last longer. It says don’t get them wet. They clip really easy. Im going to buy them again.. I also bought the silver looking ones, big & small , I love them ,I’m not wearing them in water everyday😊
