SIM card goes under silver flip up cover under batt. AWESOME!!
I love that this tech is so affordable!! So refreshing! It’s very easy to remove the back with no tools. There is a notch in the plastic molded back piece.Easy to install the SD card as this part is pretty intuitive. It took me some time to figure out where to put the SIM card as it wasn’t obvious how the silver cover of the space moves. I wasn’t sure if it slid up or flipped up and it wasn’t an easy flip up. So I used a jewelers flat-bladed screwdriver driver and hoped for the best flipping it up. it worked and it was a simple install after that. It took about 30 minutes after registering the SIM card for it to recognized the network. Kiddo called me from daycare! A word of warning, it’s very exciting to the kiddos. Make sure you set up guidelines for when to call.As recommended I used speedtalk- but had to order the prepaid sim card from their website directly as Amazon was out of stock at the time. I figure 5$ is extremely affordable for just being able to call mom or dad.Setting the time is a little tricky and you need patience and a firm finger on the screen.I’m not sure kiddo has explored all the games yet and I haven’t measured battery time yet.So far, I’m extremely please to just have the calling capability if nothing else. It’s affordable and a great way for a kiddo to keep in touch. It’s not waterproof - but with the ease of access to the back that makes sense. It’s wonderful. By the way- the instructions don’t tell you exactly how or where to place the SIM card- which is why I outlined it here.I hope this review helps!

Good so far
Got for Christmas gifts, kids love them. Fit very well. My 5 year old says the games are kinda boring. But they are great for learning and a good price. They look stylish and a great kids first smart watch

DO NOT BUY DO NOT TRUST AMAZON
I used to believe Amazon was a trustworthy place I could spend money and buy dependable products but this isn’t the case anymore! I can’t even get some decent help from customer service. I purchased two smart watches and two of these SIM cards for my children that should have allowed them to be able to make and receive phones calls. I did all the researched before I bought them and the watch providers states that SPEEDTALK is the only compatible SIM card for proper phone usage on the watch so I buy two of them one for each of my kids I check the 2G coverage in our area and it’s great. The map is pretty Much fully over. I registered my account and activate the SIMS card and nothing. There isn’t even a dial tone when I try and make a call just nothing. I reach out to both the seller and Amazon customer service and I’m told straight up I can have a refund on one item but not both watches and both SIM cards despite the face that none of these items work. That’s over $120 + of my money down the drain. BEWARE

Good smart watch minus the “contacts” part
1-this is not a gps watch (putting that in case anyone doesn’t read the details on the watch) It works good for what it is!2-i bought this for my kindergartener as i’ve had a few times the school sent him home the wrong route (bus when it was daycare pick up and vice versa) I opted for this as the battery life lasts a few days vs a smart watch that has gps that won’t even make it through a whole day before the battery dies. So i have a separate gps unit just for tracking. Btw speed talk mobile sells sim cards for $5, on amazon.... they’re only $5 a month. i have one for my gps and this watch.3-the cons i don’t like: you can’t edit the names, just the phone numbers for the names. Dad is first, then mom and the rest are just numbers. yea i highly dislike this part. My sons dad has nothing to do with this watch and lives hours away so if I put my number in (under mom which is second) the touch screen easily calls instead of swipes so dad would be called first. My solution is that I put my number in all 10 spots. Other than that it seems to be a good watch. Has lots of good features and i appreciate the screen protector that came with (hope it helps!).**I feel I have to add that the touch screen is very touchy. When i was setting up the phone numbers i had many times it would start calling. Also when my son was learning it he would call when he’s trying to swipe. Its just a minor thing for me as I have my number in all the slots but I can see this as an issue if your little is trying to call mom (again who’s second) or any of the numbers after that.

Meh...
Not terrible but not great. I bought two for my PreK and Kindergartener this Christmas and the Kindergartener wears hers- we’re currently working on telling time so that’s a plus but you don’t need a smart watch for that. She does like to use the camera. She isn’t impressed with the games. I spent 1.5 hours getting the SIM card inserted and figuring out how to purchase some minutes for her and then many of the reviews for the cards that you have to use for minutes had complaints about the company charging them monthly even though they didn’t sign up for that. So, now we have to wait until we physically go somewhere that sells these cards so that I can purchase one and try to hook it up again. Did I mention that we have everything (even groceries) delivered? We’ll see what happens when we finally get it working. My suggestion would be to get it up and working prior to gifting it.Side note- my almost 4 year old hasn’t asked for hers once and it’s still airing on the piano waiting to be programmed- so 5-6 is probably a better age for this watch.
