Fastest board I have ever ridden! I have always wanted a retro fish, but didn't want to pay $600+ for a board that I thought I would ride only a few times. I decided on the Paragon retro fish and it was WAY better than I could have imagined...draws smooth lines on the open face, turns with ease and keep speed even in small, weak surf. I was able to turn in parts of the wave that normally my shortboard would bog down. Now, I find myself wanting to ride this most times I paddle out because I know I will have fun regardless what the ocean produces. My biggest concern was if this board had enough volume to float my big frame (6'1", 210 lbs) and it was perfect!! I would recommend this to anyone looking for another board to add when you want to surf anything and anywhere!!
