We had to move the location of the baby gate we use to keep our dog from eating the cat’s food, and found it was a few inches too short. I did not want to buy a new baby gate and these extenders worked perfectly so now the baby gate fits in our hallway. The back of these extenders is very non-slip so I’m not worried about the gate falling or becoming unstable and it was pretty easy for me to install them by myself in about 10 minutes, though it would definitely go faster and easier with 2 people. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

We did not want to drill into our walls to install our baby gates, so I purchased these instead. So far they are working great! We used these instead of adding an extension piece in our larger wall opening. They are pretty sturdy, even with our son pulling himself up. I'm just happy we didn't drill into our walls! These were a quick and easy fix!

Great little tool to more prevent dents on the wall from gates BUT became loose over time and required frequent adjusting

This product was the perfect solution. My baby gate is adjustable but with only one extension, it wasn’t getting the tension needed for the door to engage. With both extensions.. the gate was too wide. I only needed the wall nanny extenders for one side but it worked perfectly. My only complaints is that the rubber “foot” of the wall nanny seemed to be separating and they don’t come with any adhesive/3M sticky tape to line it up.

I wish I had found these sooner. We have 3 gates up all the time and one very wide main doorway that needs 3 gate extensions. With the nanny extensions we only need 2 gate extensions. They are very sturdy and not once has the gate slipped off as they often do when the gate is just attached to the wall. The paint on the wall does not even have a scuff on it. Also, no hardware needed to keep these in place! Definitely recommend!

While these are much larger than I expected, they work out very well. I'm pleased with this purchase.

PERFECT product, just what we were looking for! Our gate was already an extended version but the walkway between the front and the back of the house was just a little bigger. We got by with an old plank of wood which unfortunately would stick and take the paint off our walls (as seen in the picture) to make it try and fit the space. The dogs would run into it or try to climb over the fence and it would slip and fall down and damage our walls. Cue these amazing little things! We were able to not only get rid of the mismatched plank of wood, but the gate is seriously sturdier than ever before and we don’t have to extend the screws out nearly as far. Didn’t even have to screw these extenders into the wall, they are wide enough that they distribute the pressure better than the wall damaging feet, and the rubber backs really are sticking well. Even took down the gate and no paint went with it, so I’m excited to actually touch up the wall now since it’ll stay. Great idea

Perfect to make our Babelio gate fit in a wider space!

The house we move it. The hallway just a bit too wide. This is perfect. Because the gate extends was too wide will not fit. Bur just the original gate is too small. It is strong enough when you put it the gate will hold up. My 3 year old can shake on it and will not move, and one who are older than 3 are not recommended to shake it at least not full body weight.

We got a Lindam Easy Fit stair gate but had an issue with our skirting board on the stairs having a gap measurement of 81cm and the walls having a gap of 90cm, so the official extensions wouldn't work for us as they come in 7cm adjustments and you have to use them for both the top and bottom pressure points. The Wall Nanny Extender is great as you can either use them for all four pressure points or just the ones you need. In our case we just used them for the top two. It is very sturdy, the stair gate doesn't move at all even if I put a lot of force into it so I completely trust it with my toddler. No installation is required, just place them between the stair gate pressure points and the wall and you're sorted! They also protect the walls really well, leaving no marks. I thought the product was quite expensive for what it is which is the only thing I can fault, but I couldn't really see any other products that would have worked for us so it was well worth the money.

The Wall Nanny Extender is a seriously useful product - I bought these to enable me to fit (the gate) across stairs that are just 1cm outside the recommended dimensions of the stairgate width (the stairs are therefore not wide enough to use a gate extender). I used just two of the extenders supplied (on the plasterboard side of my stairs) - this means that the gate itself is not extended too far therefore making it also much more stable. The size of the pad of the Wall Nanny Extender means there is dispersed pressure on the Wall so there's less risk of puncturing the plasterboard. Really easy to fit so a win, win situation!

These were perfect for what I need. I received a returned item im pretty sure as it was in a clear bag with no label or anything, but the item itself was in good condition so that wasn't a problem. We have a wider than usual hallway, and it's a newly renovated rental so they don't want us putting holes in the wall. I was able to find a pressure mounted gate that fits perfectly using these!
