Built for all manner of adventure, Zodiac watches date back to 1882 when Ariste Calame founded his own watch company in Le Locle, Switzerland. A perfectionist, Calame knew that to make a great watch he had to control all facets of manufacturing--from design to the tools used to make the timepieces. The company earned an international reputation for quality and innovation over the years with several key accomplishments, including launching the first Swiss-made automatic sports watch in 1930 and the invention of a patented new system of shock resistant cases in 1974. Over the years, Zodiac came to focus on rugged yet stylish sports watches, many with military-inspired attributes. After being purchased by Fossil in 2001, Zodiac returned to many of the vintage designs of the 1950s and 1960s when its diving watches were highly prized and its Sea Wolf model was the official watch of the Navy Seals. From the strikingly colorful palette that infuses Zodiac's caoutchouc rubber strap assortment with a daring fashion flare to the rugged oversized cases that define the Super Sea Dragon line, today's Zodiac timepieces incorporate impeccable Swiss craftsmanship and an unerring attention to detail--just as they have every year since 1882. ZODIAC's newest rendition of the beloved Aviation collection gets a classic makeover with the inclusion of a mesh steel bracelet. This bold limited edition aviation-inspired chronograph takes industrial design and sleek, precision hardware to a whole new level. High-performance details include a screwed down caseback, super-luminova accents, sapphire glass that's anti-reflective on both sides and a stainless steel mesh bracelet. The confident eagle on the case back represents the freedom of flight.

Great Piece
Somebody seriously wrote a review commenting on price......like they didn't know how much the watch cost before they bought it? This watch is light years ahead of anything in this price range (Burberry, Movado, etc.). The build, fit and finish are great. Plus, contrary to previous reviews, I've spoke with Zodiac customer service and they offered to sell new bands with no issue.

Buy something worth a thousand dollars, not this
If you are going to spend over 1,000 on a watch, buy a brand you know. Bought a Zodiac watch and tried to buy anther band from Zodiac. They told me they don't want me switching up their designs.... If you are spending over a thousand dollars - buy a real watch that is an automatic, not a battery powered watch.... I do admit it look nice and if it was priced to what is it worth I would have bought one for $185 or so.

Nice timepiece
Nice watch, very well finished, large but not heavy or uncomfortable, only detail bracelet too short it fits tightly on my 7 3/4" wrist
