WagnerQC976 Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set

Have paired these with drill/slot on 07 taco 4wd on 17s. The chepaer rotors didnt hold up but the pads have been great. Solid stopping, no noise, low dust. Good deal

After numerous 'experts' and Toyota mechanics could not fix the darn squeaking on my 2009 Tacoma, and my neighbors started complaining about the noise, I replaced the pads with this set (and decided to replace the disks as well). Shipping included, the price on Amazon was just less than 1/2 of my local Advance Autozone retail price. The instructions were clear, the install was relatively simple and the result was not one issue from then on. I did not even scuff or scratch them or use cleaning fluid on the disks. After the 1st few brake pedal presses, these pads gripped well, wheels stayed straight and no noise. They have worked very well in dry, dusty, wet and almost flooding conditions. There is hardly any brake dust on the wheels. I was so happy, I even made a stop at my local Toyota dealer to show them how I was able to fix something they kept failing to do. And, at a price less than 1/4 of what they would have charged - if they had done the same thing. This brand will be the first I look at when I need pads again.

I bought these pads some time ago but, it turned out that they were the wrong size for the calipers that I had. When one of the calipers that I had, went bad, I bought some new ones. These pads fit perfectly on those.Now we'll have to see how long they hold up.

UPDATE - I've had these on my truck now for a little over a year. They are working great and I've had no issues. These are good to go.These pads fit perfectly in my 2003 Toyota Tundra pick up. Very easy to install . The "M" shaped metal spring that came in this package seemed a little bigger than what my truck had. I ended up using the old one from my truck. I installed these pads with new rotors and bedded them together. Search the internet for brake pad bedding if you are not familiar with what bedding is. These pads have been on my truck now for several weeks and no strange sounds and they stop great. Highly recommend these over the expensive ones you get from the dealer. I will update in the future if I have any problems or issues with these pads.

Cheap and perfect fit

These pads were pretty good, nice and quiet seemed to stop well and I was pretty happy with them. This was until I had to make a pretty hard stop one day and after that it was all down hill. Keep in mind I had approximately 15,000 miles on them and two and a half years on my truck. Well after the hard stop I noticed not long afterwards there was a grinding sound after pressing my brake petal. It soon got much, much worse. After limping it home I soon discovered that I must have had a bad pad, at least that's the only explanation I can think of. The rest of the pads are in pretty good condition, a good 60+% left on them. I know there are many factors that can make this happen and if this happen's to the next pads I put on I'd have to chock it up to another mechanical problem and I will gladly post those findings here. But for the time being this seems like a bad pad.

2016 Toyota 4Runner...fits well, works well, but keep your original hardware. The circlips are useless.....at least no good for my SUV.

As described, very good quality, no dark residual on wheels. Noticable stopping force improvement.
