Great kitchen tool. Very nice wood.

Appears to be good quality and a perfect fit for the Wear-Ever sieve that we have.

Got as a replacement, works great.

I purchased this to replace an older version which was cracked. This one is bigger and bulkier which can be a bit tough if your kitchen storage is tight but is effective and seems durable so far.

She says the size is big and perfect and makes short work of smushing the fruit into pulp for fruit leather. The wood quality is good and no imperfections. My wife thought the handles could be longer but the daughter-in-law says it is fine.

This is a sturdy, smooth pestle that is perfect for mashing fruit or vegetables (like tomatoes) and leaving the skin and seeds behind. I use it with a metal funnel-shaped strainer namely for tomatoes. The pestle is pure wood, very smooth, and sturdy.

This pestle made pushing & rubbing the fruit though the 10" strainer/chinois much, much, much easier. I wanted both the juice and pulp to make raspberry jam, a great pulpy jam without all the seeds. The rounded bottom pestle, even when you've gone round and round, up and down against the sides, and around some more -- if there is still stuff left in the strainer/chinois, keep moving the pestle up and down to force more pulp and juice out through the bottom third of the strainer. Using this with a Chinois in the family since the 1930s to mash annual harvest of choke cherries, goose berries and rose hips for processing and canning into syrup, jellies and jams, this works better than any other method I’ve tried, and requires half the effort to do the work.

Not very good. The bonding agent for the different pieces that make the object was showing after the first use. Not a solid piece. Feels like it should be sold at ikea. Just buy a steel ladle instead.
