Well, they are the purple shown in the picture; the box had the correct amount; they weren't broken; and they lit and burned correctly. What more can you ask of birthday candles?

Candles not as pictured
The candles in the picture appeared to be slightly metallic. The candles that arrived (see photo) were a completely different brand and not in anyway metallic in appearance. I wouldn't have paid over four dollars for this basic set of candles.

Candles are okay.
The candles seem to be smaller than regular birthday cake candles. The wax also seemed to have melted a little bit, which is odd because where I’m from the temp is so cold! Overall, the candles are acceptable but nothing special.
