I'm so surprised that this is a good item. My 15 yr old daughter is so happy to have a beautiful locked diary. It's the perfect diary/poetry/journal size. I actually want one for myself. Who doesn't want to write in a bling book? It comes with 2 keys. It makes a thoughtful gift.

The lock literally fell off the minute the package was open. It is very cheaply made. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

And I couldn't be happier too because I've used the diary to encourage her to write more. And now she's writing and reading more. These were her 'liked least' subjects. Not any more.

Purchased as Christmas gift for 9 year-old and she loves it. Keys are easy to use, lock works well.

This arrived with no lock at all, not even a broken one like other reviews say. It was not worth $10.99. I'd return it, but a replacement would not arrive in time.

Bought fora Christmas gift for 8 yr old. She loved it. The Reversible Sequin, Panda, and of course that it locks ! She's thrilled with her new "Diary" I would buy it again.
