They're OK - Worth About What I Paid For Them
After reading the feature list of these gloves and looking at the relatively low price, I made the easy decision to try a pair.I had my first real world experience using them this past weekend.I think these gloves will be excellent in colder, drier weather.I was using these gloves in weather that was hot and humid. My sweaty hands got really hot inside the admittedly comfy lining. However, when I pulled my hands out of the gloves, a lot of the liner fibers came out stuck to my hands. They did an excellent job off protecting from the heat of 150F+ pork shoulder and briskets. The gloves did absorb juices from the meats and the flies loved them! The cuffs made putting the gloves on very easy . . . the first time. When I took the gloves off, the lining had a tendency to stick to my sweaty hands and pulled the liner out of the fingers. It would be really nice if these gloves had some kind of anchor system (either some hook and loop pieces or a simple stitch?) to hold the liner in place.I was able to grab hot cooking grates and temperature probes with ease because the fingers of the glove provide great dexterity compared to my regular UltraSource 441252 Fryer Glove, Cuff, 18" (Pack of 2) that I use.So, the bottom line is, they're OK.Are they really worth the full retail price of $60? No.Are they worth taking a gamble on to see how they do for less than $20? Yes.I will update this review after I use them over the winter.I really think they will do much better if my hands aren't sweaty.I hope this was helpful.Thank you very much./David C.

These gloves are excellent. I can handle all the sheet pans without ...
First, little bout me: I work in a commercial bakery with a 4 tier deck oven set to around 500 degrees F. we can fit 5 sheet pans per deck. Along with that we have a two rack rotational oven, that can fit 28 sheet pans. Lots of contact with very hot (relatively) metal. These gloves are excellent. I can handle all the sheet pans without and heat discomfort, given i grab them correctly. I love that these gloves have a plentiful amount of silicone, but if i grab a pan and the lip sits between my thumb and forefinger, I can feel the heat within about 10 seconds. Prolonged handling/ use has resulted in my hands getting a tad sweaty, and when I pull the gloves of the inner lining and the outer glove layer separate. I was able to fix this by stitching the two layers together at the finger tips where i grab to pull the gloves off.DO NOT get any sort of fat or liquid on these gloves and then try to pick up anything hot, it will burn. I have made this mistake with a similar product, and have been very careful to use an old beater pair of oven mitts to handle anything greasy, like brioche pullman loaves. Very fatty, and very hard to clean out of this type of fabric. My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be to add more silicone. Possibly black dots around the thumb/ fore finger area as an added precaution. I will be buying these again when the time comes to retire my current pair.

Cool design, nice gloves
Cool design, nice gloves, soft lining. They're big on my dainty little lady hands, but not in an uncomfortable unsafe way. I've used them to transfer oven dishes with no issues. They fit my husbands manly hands much better, but I bought them for him to use with the grill and he says he can definitely feel the heat as he gets over the flame. That's the reason for the minus 1 star, they're not completely all-purpose heat-resistant as I'd hoped but they'll do the jobOverall good buy if you're not sticking your hands into a flame

Great!
Awesome! I bought these for my husband for the grill and the smoker. But, I tried them out and I have to say these are the BEST oven mitts I have ever used. I threw out all my old oven mitts and will never use anything else but these. I highly recommend. Great purchase.

Slightly large, but good quality and insulation.
So far these have been very heat protective. They're thick and comfortable and allow reasonable dexterity. I like how they look. I have small/medium man's hands and the gloves are just slightly big for me. I have to pull them down to make them work, and my wife, who has small hands, has a half inch of space from her fingers to the end of the gloves. She can use them, but they're challenging.

Can be used for NASCAR Driving gloves
Keeps the heat off your hands so you can handle the hot grilling metals easier and safer. The gloves are comfortable and protects, but the inner materials (almost cottony fluff) do end up coming off when you remove your hands. Especially if your hands get wet (or damp).I used these with a La Caja China box, roasting a 50 lb whole hog.

these work much better as protection
These work well. Got 'em to replace suede leather ones that got filthy and actually drew up from high heat in places. these work much better as protection. Just a little harder to put on and off. The 'slit' on the wrist helps in this regard, but they still fit tighter than the leather ones, so require a little more effort.

THESE GLOVES ARE FANTASTIC!!
THESE GLOVES ARE FANTASTIC!!! I received them promptly and think they are wonderful gloves. I wanted to test even past the rated 662˚, and lit a standard butane lighter underneath the index finger of the left hand. The rubber was black scorched and a bit burned, but my fingers inside were certainly not burned after 5 seconds of lighting a lighter and taking the flame to the index finger (1200˚ TO 1400˚). DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS!!! But THESE GLOVES ARE PERFECT FOR BBQin!!!
