Great bore sighting laser
This laser makes it easier to zero in your rifle or handgun. If you have a rifle or pistol with a scope or red dot. This laser makes it easier and saves you money on ammunition.

Works as advertised
.357magnum laser bore sight. Dot is 1MOA.Pretty basic composition. Comes w batteries!Easily assembled, although do it in a well lighted area in case you drop one of the batteries.Red dot is steady and bright once the end cap is screwed in. Seen very easily indoors. Not so much outdoors unless at dusk or night. Full daytime, maybe 20 yards at best.It fits easily and smoothly in each of the cylinder chambers on my S&W 686+.Red dot stayed centered even when turning the casing in the cylinder and using any chamber. Is accurate enough to get a good bead on whatever range you want to set your sight to.Using it to sight in a Vortex Viper 6MOA red dot on the above pistol. The red dot has to be turned down all the way so the bore sight can be seen as it is obvioulsy larger, but works well. Basically centering the 1MOA in the 6MOA. Set at about 20 yards in my backyard at dusk. Verified this at the indoor range. Windage was right on, but had to raise it a click or two to set at 25, then spot on.Overall, good boresight for the price. Also makes a great cat toy in a pinch.

Buy Extra Batteries at Time of Purchase
Buy extra batteries at the same time. Most people don’t have LR41 batteries laying around and they are relatively costly at the local store. Batteries lasted less than a minute. A minor change in packaging could likely resolve the issue.

Works well after modification
I have a Ruger GP100 357 seven shot revolver with a red dot sight. I did not follow the instruction to use a vise and did it freehand. I noticed that when moving the revolver to adjust the sight that the bore sight was wobbling. This caused inconsistent positioning each time I moved the revolver. I got it to stabilize by wrapping the bore sight at the laser end with a wrap of packing tape. This centered and stabilized the bore sight in the cylinder. I have a training laser for my 9mms and it has o-rings to keep it centered and stabilized, which was more expensive. This is cheaper but with the modification works fine for my sighting needs.

This is a cheap bore sight. You get what you pay for.
The biggest issue is that the light is not centered. When chambered, by holding a thin piece of paper at the muzzle, it is evident that the light is off center, making sight adjustment pointless.

Gets close
Gets close. But not nearly as accurate as my other bore sights. It is very clearly off center as dot moves position as you rotate it in place.

No problems
The laser fit perfect in my Ruger GP 100. I had no problems with the fitting in the cylinder. It made adjusting my Crimson trace laser that much easier. This is a must have
