Silk Balance Natural Hot Tub Water Care - Premium Simple Luxury Hot Tub Water Solution 2 Month Supply

We started using SILK over a year ago and I have no idea what I ever did without it. We use to always be managing our chemicals (sometimes unsuccessfully) Now with silk, just one dose per week and a tablespoon of shock and the hot tub is perfect. I have no idea why it works, but it does. The water is always clean, chemicals seem to be in balance and never any issues. Yes, Its a lot of money, but its just a few once (we have a small tub and use 4oz a week) and forget it. Easy Peasy.

I haven't had to add any chemicals in over 5 days! This project keeps it very well balanced. Would definitely buy again!

I was looking for a non-chlorine alternative for our hot tub, and the pool store highly recommended it, so I decided to do some research. Found it here for 20% less that the pool store was charging, so I thought I'd give it a try. Very simple once a week maintenance dose, and toss in a pod after each usage. The water feels and smells great. I am only two weeks in to using this product, which is why I didn't give it five stars, but if it continues to work this well and be this easy, it will be a 5 star product, for sure!

This is truly a fantastic product, but it ain't cheap! I've been using it for over 10 years for an outdoor 500 gallon hot tub, and it creates water that is clear, clean and really does feel silky. I've had more than one guest comment favorably upon the silky feel of the water. The only downside is that it is super-expensive! I only use it from time to time, not regularly, because of the cost.

Amazing stuff. Not sure how they concoct this product, but it works really well to maintain balance and make the water nice. We use our 2 person hottub daily and no more dry skin! Expensive stuff but you don't use too much so it goes a long way. Glad they changed the formula to move away from the milky white to clear blue - dissolves instantly when you put it in. I cannot imagine not having this for my spa!

I guess it’s on me for not checking the quantity on my last container but imagine my surprise when I saw how small the container was based on the price. Way too expensive!

Don't let anybody sell you test kits, pH Up, pH Down, anything - any chemicals. Just buy silk balance and add it every 10 days. The only other thing you need is chlorine. Amazon sells a hot tub chlorine mixture (it's granular) made by Chlorox. Take one of your child's medicine cups and measure it half-full so it's going to be about 7 and 1/2 mL of the granules. Add that every night after you get out of your hot tub. And as I said, every 10 days add the silk balance. No need for test kits. No need for all that hard work. These two chemicals (silk balance and the Clorox brand hot tub chlorine) are all you need. Our hot tub water is crystal clear and the same water has been in the tub 5 months now. With silk balance you can change water every eight or nine months, unlike the hot tub companies telling you to change it every 3 months.. My husband and I are in the hot tub every night. We clean the filters every other month. Other than that no maintenance just those two chemicals.

A good product. Just a bit overpriced for the quantity.
