I already knew that I'd love the scent of this (because all of the essential oils in it are my favorites), but I can see how some would identify a black licorice note; that is definitely the damiana. And I think combining it with ylang ylang may bring that note out to an even greater extent. But here's the deal: I HATE the scent of fennel essential oil and pretty much all of the other oils that would be considered "black licorice scents," such as anise, dill, etc. So trust me, this ain't that lol. Damiana is really so nuanced, in my opinion. Yes, you get a little bit of a sweet licorice smell from this plant, but there's also a sexy, deep undertone & florality as well. I find it to be absolutely beautiful & I can't get enough of damiana in all its forms! I am really impressed with this Nectar oil in particular, as it does so much for me. I use it for chest pain & tension related to stress, and it works like no other! I've also found that it helps with digestion, period-related pain/tension/cramps and relaxation. One of the most surprising & unique benefits is that it seems to really work on a deep, psycho-spiritual level; there are major emotional issues, blockages and traumas that, I feel, are being improved by the use of this oil, along with an increase in self-esteem. And, unlike other methods of "self-healing," this has been essentially painless. Obviously this is a true aromatherapy oil (not to mention, a high-quality skincare blend). I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and I will probably use this oil for as long as it is available. And if ever a time comes that it's not, I will just make the blend myself lol

this adds another layer to connection and intimacy. I've used traditional lubes and they always feel chemical and I don't like them. I've used other oils as well but they don't really leave an amazing smell. This stuff really makes the body and room smell amazing! It's very floral and potent but in an intoxicatingly good way. It makes everything smell better. Its also soft and not oily, and effective for the whole body. I can't stop using it!

This should be called goddess nectar because everytime I use it I feel so amazing!! This oil is very high quality. It’s not sticky or sweet. Slightly warming, smells divine and soothing. I have even started using a little pump of it rubbed on my hair and skin and it makes it silky smooth. So far I have gotten a lot of attention and people mentioned they love how I smell and want to know what I’m wearing. Great product and I can feel good that it is sustainably sourced.

Flor de Amor’s Damiana Nectar is a gorgeous blend. The quality of the ingredients is ultra-high and the balance of the blend is luxurious, erotic, and sensually fragrant. Damiana is quite an extraordinary herb and always intrigued me. Flor de Amor clearly knows how to formulate to enhance its potent qualities as an adaptogen, antioxidant protector and aphrodisiac. Plus ,I value that the products are created artesian distillers and farmers crafting the organic essential ingredients. I’m grateful to have found this product, there is nothing else like it that I’ve seen!

This is not for everybody.It was moisturizing but I had to apply multiple times to enjoy .The scent wasn’t pleasant for me.It’s smells like black licorice.Wouldn’t buy again.
