Pure Natural Food Colors, Multi Pack 5 ct. 1 oz.

These colors work well when I put them in the frosting to decorate cakes. The colors turn out great.

Used these for a cake for my grandson who is very sensitive to other dyes and it was perfect. Although the color wasn't as vivid as other food dyes, the safety was far more appealing and comforting. They were easy to use, however the bags they came in were a bit messy. Not enough to not use, but there was more cleanup, which was quite easy being it didn't dye fingers or the washcloths which was really nice. Shipping was fast too.Will definitely use again.

I liked using this food coloring knowing I wasn’t consuming any artificial dyes. The dyes did mix in well, but I will say the colors aren’t as vibrant as maybe a convention food dye is. That is totally fine but just knowing that on the front side is helpful for managing expectations.

I was so looking forward to finding a food coloring alternative for homemade pasta and cookies. I might buy again, but unfortunately they come individually packaged in non-resealable plastic "soy sauce packets" and so once you cut a corner open, you aren't able to close them up again. The pigment is great but after opening they are extremely messy. I noticed that there was a slight flavor to the colors as well.

Used this for a party the colors are bright the green was like neon bright green I got them because they are natural with fruit juice they come in packets like ketchup packets that you get from fast food restaurants but they are clear ones if you ever went to Panda Express the packaging kinda resembles that

I was pleased with the colors for our Christmas cookie frosting. They are bold and do not have a weird taste. My only complaint is that I didn’t realize these were one time use packets. So we had to use the whole color packet in one sitting. For the price I assumed they were like the artificial dye packets that can be used several times… I did not read details very well, so that’s my own fault. I probably wouldn’t have purchased these had I understood they would only be good for one use. However, they did the job and our cookies turned out beautifully.

Gave this one star based not on performance, which I have not yet had a chance to assess, but due to the imminent expiration date (11/01/15, 4 mos. from purchase) on the package. This may be a very good product; however, beside the fact that food colors, even naturally-sourced, traditionally are not expected by most consumers to have anything less than a nearly-infinite shelf-life (and I can't imagine most households coming close to using it up in that short period), at some point this problem was apparently recognized and a large sticker with the date was placed on the back of the package, replicating the packaging's original exp. date and obscuring much of the product information. I find the combination of boldly emphasizing the short shelf-life once the product is paid for and in one's hand, and it having slipped the supplier's mind to mention it at the point of sale to be a bit tacky. Now, this is giving the supplier credit for not simply selling very old stock. I sure hope that's warranted.I find no date of manufacture on the package (maybe it's under the sticker! ;)Update: Had a chance to open & examine the product. It contains four single use packets, one for each color. Four SINGLE use packets. For TWENTY dollars. Now THAT was an outright egregious omission from the product description. Definitely returning it, and resenting the waste of time. It's an extra dash of salt on the wound that I have to write this grumpy review, but I felt a responsibility.
