Clemens Habicht 1000 Piece Changing Color Jigsaw Puzzle

I believe this same puzzle is listed twice on Amazon. I bought this one and it doesn't look like a knock-off or anything, so I'm writing a review here. I am not a puzzle expert but I've done 1000 piece puzzles before but this one was so hard I couldn't get further than the frame for a while. The finished puzzle size is about 20x27." The challenge of this puzzle is that you have to get it right it up to four different angles since it's iridescent, so if you have a puzzle lazy susan that would be great as well as good indirect lighting. Many of the pieces are the same size so you can fit it in multiple places but it's only right in one place. If you're like me you'll swear there are pieces missing until the very end. For $90 I did this puzzles for several hours over multiple weekends so I definitely got my money's worth. It's beautiful and fun to look at and you get a real sense of accomplishment (and relief) when you finish. The pieces are thick and have a hard vinyl (I guess) coating that keeps it in good shape when you have to pry it out of the wrong place. This puzzle would be a great gift for any puzzle enthusiast.

Corner piece missing. Apparently that's the trend with this VERY expensive puzzle and due to the fact that it is very difficult and challenging and takes a long time to complete, you will probably not know until it's too late to get a refund. Especially if it's a gift. Seems like a nifty lil scam they're running to get rid of puzzles that are missing pieces.

The puzzle is good quality and exactly what you would expect. The price is way too high for a standard puzzle, but was worth it for the look on the person’s face it was purchased for. It will be a challenging puzzle, but for someone who enjoys that it is a perfect gift.

If you want a real challenge, this puzzle is for you! Each piece changes color depending upon its position under light, making it very tricky to get the right pieces in the right places. Would make an awesome gift as well!

We spent a great deal of time sorting the pieces and working on completing the outer edge. In the outer edge there were many pieces missing. For example, we had three corner pieces, not four. Even without that piece, we were unable to complete the outer edge due to other missing pieces. Not knowing how many other pieces may be missing beyond the edge, we are returning the puzzle for a refund. Disappointing.

It’s a puzzle that is fun to do and eventually creates one of the most beautiful pieces of puzzle art that I have ever seen!

Definitely not a Clemens puzzle. This was sent from China and is NOT color changing or morphing in any way. Completely matte. The original Clemens color changing puzzle was holographic. Very disappointing.

Not as challenging as challenging as it may initially seem but the color changing aspect makes this puzzle really fun and unique
