I am a repeat customer!
I ordered this Ripple plant based protein multi-pack for my aunt who is lactose intolerant. She had been drinking Ensure plant based protein, so I knew this wouldn't cause her any digestive problems. This multi-pack comes with Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee. It's a great way to test-drive all the flavors. Vanilla was my aunt's favorite, although she still feels it is "thick" (because she is expecting it to be the consistency of milk). I thought it tasted like a wonderful, melted, vanilla shake. She was "okay" with the coffee even though coffee is MY favorite! It tastes very much like a delicious cappuccino. The chocolate was everyone's least favorite. It has that weird taste that all chocolate protein drinks seem to have. It's drinkable, just not as enjoyable as the other two.I am very sensitive to artificial sweeteners - they taste awful to me and some of them give me a headache. Ripple plant based protein shakes use monk fruit instead of artificial sweeteners. I have not liked stevia in the past so I wasn't sure how monk fruit would taste. Happily, I found it to be acceptable. There IS an aftertaste, like with an artificial sweetener, but it is less strong and fades quickly, leaving the flavor of the shake to enjoy. And I haven't had any headaches from it either.I am already a repeat customer for this product - vanilla and coffee only though.

Delicious, Energizing, and Dairy-Free!
I’ve tried a lot of plant-based protein shakes, but Ripple’s Coffee flavor is hands-down one of my favorites. It has a smooth, creamy texture (no chalky aftertaste like some others), and the coffee flavor is just right—not too strong, but enough to give me a nice energy boost in the morning.I love that it’s dairy-free and packed with 20g of pea protein, which makes it a perfect post-workout drink or on-the-go breakfast. It’s not overly sweet, and it keeps me full for a while without any stomach issues. Plus, it’s great knowing it’s made from sustainable ingredients.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, plant-based protein shake with a caffeine kick!

Checks all the boxes
My list of no-nos is fairly long, but the biggest ones are;1. No dairy2. No Stevia (note here…if you have endocrine issues, read up on Stevia).3. No spinach (another note…raw spinach depletes calcium from your body)4. Option of vanillaWhat I don’t like is the plastic bottles and caps and covers with a foil seal once you get past opening the plastic around the cap. It’s overkill. Im reusing them as much as I can, but there’s only so many ways to do that. This shake passed all those no-nos for me.This is not a thick shake. I use it in place of water to make a protein packed smoothie that I add a protein powder to along with frozen apple chunks, banana slices, a slice of cooked red beet and a chunk of avocado. The avocado really thickens the smoothie. The beet turns it a beautiful dark pink and the whole thing is exactly sweet enough.I tried another brand that checked some of the boxes. It was organic, this one is not. I almost decided to let that bother me, but in the end, if you need a fast way to increase your protein intake that doesn’t gag you, Ripple will do that. Even if you just drink it from the bottle. But don’t and follow my recipe. You have to trust me on this.About the price: Yes. It’s pricey. But when you have special requirements, it pays to bite the bullet on cost if you can.

Not good for Colon Cancer Patients like me.
I am writing this review to share my Memorial Day Weekend personal experience with drinking this Ripple Chocolate Protein shake so that other people who may have complications due to the pea protein-- can see what happened to me. Now if you have a healthy colon and can eat Peas safely-I cannot-this most likely will never affect you.The taste is good and I had been needing protein and electrolytes very badly after a heavy chemo bought with FolFox5.I had been up and walking- eating plain crackers-drinking water getting back to normal. Then this shake arrived and I thought, Yes! Even Better! So I refrigerated them for about five hours. Took one out to my balcony and truly enjoyed this nondairy chocolate shake. It DID give me a boost and I was finally able to get out and walk my dog. However, at bedtime, I drank another half a chocolate Ripple shake. I woke up at 3am deathly sick and immediately vomitted both shakes up. It was really scary!!! I then had horrible diahrea and to go to the hospital. Here I am with a Bowel Blockage possibly awaiting a surgery to get a colostomy bag. Ick!!! Major Surgery!I did have a total Colon Resection Cancer Surgery last March 2022, but this blockage is all new.Obviously, having Stage 4 Metastasized Colon Cancer and Metastacized Breast Cancer-I am not blaming the shake makers at all on making this blockage happen. I only can say that the Pea Protein immediately aggravated and enflamed my badly damaged colon. It really messed me up BAD! and now here I am stuck in the hospital. I hope this helps anyone so they can avoid this happening to them. Certain hard vegetables do not process well in the Colon. Peas is one of them.

Best I've Tried!
MY SECOND REVIEW---CHOCOLATE VS VANILLA...I have been searching for a non-dairy protein drink. This is the best CHOCOLATE I've had! I like the fact that there is REAL cane sugar in it. What happened to just having natural sugar! It's the healthiest option as opposed to sucralose (an IBS no-no), and stevia is just gross (to me). I usually back off monk fruit extract, but it actually isn't noticeable in this product. The VANILLA - GROSS! Remember that Kaopectate for diarrhea? That chalky aftertaste even? That's what the vanilla tastes like. ICK. So ONLY buy the chocolate. Just...believe me!
