Delta Creative Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2 oz), 2071, Terra Cotta

This paint is perfect. Have painted over 30 years, used many brands, always come back to CERAMCOAT by Delta. It is creamy, not runny, good coverage, dries fast. If a wash look is desired, just add water to thin down. Works great for floating an edge. AND painters, don’t forget, good brushes are necessary too and cleaning up of brushes throughly after each use, drying and storing them properly is a must. ENJOY!! Never disappointed with Ceramcoat paint.

i use Acrylic Paint to paint the back of my fish tanks so i dont have to tape a back ground makes them look very clean looking

I had never used this brand of craft paint before, and I have to say that it's coverage and workability rival artists' acrylics. Far better than DecoArt (have tried multiple varieties), FolkArt, and the like. So as for the line, I'm all systems go.But the color that I got, Terracotta, was, at best, an inaccurate representation of terracotta the stone, and at worst, just a garish orange color. I guess if you want to make it look like faux terracotta, this might be the paint for you. But it really was too much on its own.I was upcycling a bunch of greenhouse pots; ended up using it over a baking powder foamy blend I had made with flat white latex and various ochres and siennas with a touch of yellow and cool red. The base color was far too pale. But it turned out to be the perfect base for two step sponging with a natural sponge.The Terracotta sponged on alone: quelle horreur. Quite bright. But sponging a slightly darker but warm orange-brown made everything quite nice.Far too much work for a project like this, but can't always predict that when you're upcycling.

I use this product for basing military figurines. This colour provides a good undercoat for adding flock and vegetation to the bases of military miniatures Delta Ceramcoats are the best colours for this.
