Came broken, now leaking
I purchased this less than a month ago. It arrived with the glass pot broken, according to amazon its not returnable. I just wanted the glass pot replaced, but figured I would deal with it. Now the red pot where the temperature gauge is began leaking water whenever I try to use it. This is a complete waste of money and a piece of poorly made trash

Good, but not a tea familyβs first choice
Update of my previous review.. so a couple months ago the kettle started leaking from the temperature gauge on the side, and the kettle was not yet properly 6 months old. The good news is seller took responsibility immediately and issued a new kettle.... hats of to the seller for standing behind their products. However as good as the seller is, the product still falls short for its ability to keep the teapot warm... itβs terrible at that, so ... seller gets a BIG ππ½.... the kettle and teapot... not so much, I can not recommend it.Works, however I have 2 issues that may not be everyoneβs concern;Updated 6/19/2020ββββββββββββββ-1) The teapot is a bit small for our needs, it really holds about 3 1/2 good sized cups, which is a joke in a tea drinking family such as mine2) The teapot does not maintain the tea at a high enough temperature throughout the day, so that cup 2 hours later is more warm than hot.Other than that it works fine

Hmm...could be better
My sister sent this to me as a gift and replacement of the old Russell Hobbs set I had. While I give it high marks for the water kettle - auto shutoff, temperature reading, cup level markers - the makers seem to have made the teapot as an afterthought...1 Pro: The teapot stays hot...Major Cons:#1 - There's a gap between the lid and the teapot. So if you don't hold down the lid while you're pouring, the tea will spill everywhere (like a waterfall)! By the way, I'm in a wheelchair, so I have to be careful not to burn myself while pouring hot liquids and this teapot can pose a definite danger. After a few near-disasters, I discovered this Quick Tip - hold the lid down firmly with your thumb or index finger and tip the pot at a slight angle directly over your cup/mug when you pour. Not easy for a person in my condition, but it's doable.#2 - The metal infuser/strainer is not well-produced and it tears up the tea bags whenever I pour in the hot water. I used to use a variety of 2-3 tea bags (detox tea and green tea, or white tea and ginger tea, for example), let them sit in the teapot throughout the day and just add more hot water. But now I'd find bits of tea leaves at the bottom of the pot and have to throw out what's left. Quick Tip #2 - pour in the hot water then add the tea bags, let them steep 3-7 minutes (or whatever strength you like), then take them out before you add more water or make another pot.#3 - Since when does it have to cost $70 - $80 for subpar water kettles/teapot warmers??! I got my Russell Hobbs from Walmart for $24.95 and it lasted nearly 17 years. Then some greedy dummkoff sold one on Amazon for over $300! My God, people!!#$%!Needless to say, I'm less than thrilled and will have to find something better...
