Lifefactory 22-Ounce Glass Water Bottle with Active Flip Cap and Protective Silicone Sleeve, Sea Green

I love this water bottle. I like the lid and does not leak.

I really like this water bottle but wish I could get the original style flip top. I love that it is a glass bottle avoiding plastics and metals. The protective sleeve does the job. The protective sleeve can be removed for cleaning which I would recommend or you can put it in the dishwasher. The straw type cap never holds up as a leak in the vacuum happens easily.

Keeping a glass of water near my computer was a constant danger -- knocked a glass over more times than I care to admit, so this bottle is heaven sent and it prevents the need to buy plastic bottles of drinking water. It has a convenient spout with a cap that closes securely and a carrying handle so it's easy to grab and go. I like that the interior is glass so it will last far longer than plastic. If I had any requests to the company it would be to make one larger than 22 oz. A 28-32 oz size would be great. And to make one in yellow! I'd like to see a wider range of colors but imagine that comes with success. The company offers replacement caps in case you need a new one but this bottle seems so durable that I'm not sure if or when that need would arise. Bottom line, this is a really nice product and for all those klutzes out there -- this klutz is quite happy with her purchase.

Ive had it for a couple months and I love it so much. perfect size, I love the glass and silicone sleeve. The quality of those parts are great! I have gotten one of my prof. and a friend to buy one. However, ive noticed the black plastic cap on top can leak and also ive noticed black pieces of plastic floating around in there recently. I got it to not drink microplastics but because the cap is still plastic its still an issue. Let me know when you increase the quality of the cap to not do those two things and ill be the first one to buy it!

I LOVE my Lifefactory bottles. I have used them for years, and I used to buy them at my local coop. But I've since moved to a new location where I can't get them locally, so I bought one from Amazon. THAT was a mistake. First of all, the shipping. Amazon shipped a GLASS bottle in nothing but a lightly-padded envelope. That the bottle did not break during shipping is a testimony to Lifefactory's quality. I did not see any cracks in the glass, and I could not feel any cracks in the rim of the bottle. That was a relief...BUT, the bottle stunk something horrible. Amazon apparently uses some kind of spray (pesticide?) in their warehouses. It has a sickly sweet smell that covers everything I've ordered there in the past year or two. Usually it washes out pretty easily, so I put the Lifefactory bottle and cap in the dishwasher. I washed it once. Still stunk. I washed it twice. Still stunk. So my spouse tried washing it by hand, removing the silicone sleeve. There was clearly a film of some kind over the outside of the bottle. Spouse scrubbed the bottle and the sleeve for 20 minutes but could not get that film off. And finally, the bottle broke. I'm guessing the careless shipping of the glass bottle led to microcracks in the glass that weren't apparent at first. So I am now stuck with a useless, smelly silicone sleeve and a plastic, both which are still coated with whatever film Amazon sprays on everything. And I know how plastic soaks up stuff like that, so there is no way I will ever put my mouth on it. And of course, now I can't return the thing. So do yourself a favor: Go to Lifefactory's website and buy one there. Pay for shipping. You will no doubt get a bottle you will be glad to drink out of.

Will not buy again cos it cut my 8 years old who dropped the bottle and was shocked that it broke so easily and while hoping to save it in panic cut herself.

Love this bottle. The body of the bottle had a strong chemical smell when I first opened it but it went away after an hour of the lid being off. I put it in the dishwasher to wash it before using it for the first time (as suggested) and I acidently wacked it on the side of the dishwasher. It did not chip, crack or break. What I like about it . . - It has a wide mouth so you can put ice cubes in it. - it has measurement markings on the side. - the lid is very comfortable to drink from - it has an hourglass shape so it is easy to hold for smaller hands like mine. - strong glass - dishwasher safe - it is not heavy like some glass water bottles. - it is attractive - you can buy replacement lids if you lose yours or want a different type. - the price! I bought the white because it was half the price of the other colors for some reason.

great product fully worth what I paid for it. The active flip cap is fool proof, works well.
