A fuse is an inert component and works the same on AC and DC. **Q: My machine needs fuse t8a h 250vac. does this product fit my machine?** A: I do not think so. "t8a h 250vac" may mean slow blow "t", 8 amp blowing current "8a", high current "h", 250 volts AC circuit "250vac". MCIGICM has fast (quick blow), which is necessary for electronics using transistors. For myself I always want or need: what does the fuse look like, fuse dimensions, markings such as you are using. Markings may have extra spaces or not. Slow blow are probably not transparent or are ceramic rather than glass or ar glass with a lot of stuff in them rather than just a wire or strip (with narrowing?). I looked up 'electrical fuse' on wikipedia and went from the text to footnote 7 for an Australian fuse company's page on fuse markings: https://www.swe-check.com.au/pages/learn_fuse_markings.php **Q: Are these standard-sized fuses, ie, dimensions?** A: As far as standard-size, all I know is the original fuse I removed was the same as what I used in the assorted fuses. Very hany to have these on hand for my electronic projects. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Higher quality than I expected for the price. *by A***N on July 9, 2021* The fuse assortment arrived in perfect shape with all the fuses properly located in the bins of the well labeled and securely closing organizer. which came enclosed in it's own box in addition to Amazon's packaging. I read other reviews mentioning that the numbers on the fuses were hard to read. I have to use a magnifying glass to read the numbers on even the highest priced name brand fuses, so I won't take any stars away for that. Some fuses are easier to read than others, but I haven't found one yet that I couldn't make out quite easily with a magnifying glass. I checked for loose end caps on random fuses in the assortment and found all to be secure. I paid $2.09 a fuse at my Local auto parts store and they ended up giving me 2A fuses instead of the 0.2A fuses that I asked for. It turned out they didn't have any of the 5X20MM fuses I needed in stock and couldn't even order them for me. Now I'll probably have all that I'll ever need.
