Dritz Grommets
I was a bit trepidatious about using these on my hand-sewn and hand-painted canvas shower curtain! However, they were super easy to apply, even to a double layer of painted canvas! I recommend a practice application, of course. I used the prong insetpiece to mark a circle with pencil (on the wrong side of the shower curtain), then used manicure scissors to cut an "X" within the circle. This made positioning of the two grommet pieces easier. I pushed the pieces together per instructions, placed them on the anvil, and hammered, then removed the setting tool (had to wiggle it a bit as the canvas made it tight), and gently hammered a bit more on the back, keeping the anvil in place. The grommets look professional and neat. Of course, I had to buy TWO packages to make up the twelve needed for the shower curtain, so wish there were a few more per package.

Useful for intended purpose.
I purchased these grommets to add streamers to a flag. They are of decent quality, but depending on the material, it can be a little challenging getting them attached. I'll continue to use the product.

Easy to use
Added to my denim dress along with pearl’s and rim stone roll and it was a huge hit. Easy to use gormet would recommend

brass eyelets
These worked well to fix a tarp. Note - the Dritz "Home" line uses zinc plated brass. These are non-zinc plated brass versions.

Great tool to have when putting in large eyelets
The instructions were clear and easy to understand. I didn't have this tool for the first set of eyelets I installed on some overalls. These tools made it so much easier!!

Pay Attention to the Negative Reviews. . .
I got these to add to some custom-embroidered microfiber sport towels I made. The concept seemed simple & the attached directions were pretty straightforward. But, as other reviewers noted, the little teeth never grabbed the fabric. When putting it on the anvil it wobbled & never seemed to fit correctly. Despite that, I hammered away. The result was a warped outer ring, and still it fell apart. I tried it with & without some stabilizer and the results were always dismal. Even DH threw his hands up & pronounced it "cheap stuff." It may work better on some material than others, but I really wonder since it failed on relatively thin fabric. Very disappointed with Dritz, a company that's been around a long time. Also, be advised that the "brass" version is a very shiny gold.
