The gauge works and the line don't leak. I'm happy.
The hose doesn't leak, it holds pressure and fits onto the line and the ac bottle. It is easy to make your connections. The gauge shows the correct amount of pressure. I'm happy overall. Good buy.

A Handy Kit for Basic R134a A/C Recharging
I like having the basic tools around to handle some of my own automotive maintenance, especially when Southern California temperatures start climbing. This LIYYOO R134a recharge hose kit gives me a straightforward way to connect a compatible refrigerant can to an R134a automotive A/C system. The built-in pressure gauge is one of the most useful features. Rather than simply adding refrigerant without any indication of system pressure, I can monitor the low-side pressure while following the proper charging procedure for the vehicle. The kit also includes a 1/2-inch ACME can tap with a dispensing valve, which gives me control over the refrigerant flow. The hose is easy enough to work with around the engine compartment without making the process unnecessarily complicated. Before using it, I always verify that the vehicle actually uses R134a refrigerant and that the refrigerant can and connection are compatible with this particular tap. Refrigerant containers and vehicle A/C systems aren't all the same, so that's something worth checking rather than assuming. I also consider a recharge kit a maintenance tool, not a cure for a malfunctioning A/C system. If a vehicle repeatedly loses refrigerant, there's likely a leak or another issue that needs proper diagnosis. For occasional R134a A/C servicing, though, this is a convenient kit to keep with my automotive tools. When it's over 90 degrees outside, “the A/C just needs a little attention” quickly moves to the top of my automotive repair list.

Reliable hose for self sealing Freon cans.
This works well with the new self sealing Freon cans. The gauge is helpful and already saved my brother over $200. He had added Freon in his car with a hose that didn’t have a gauge. As a result, he overfilled the system and the system in his car wasn’t cooling. He was about to have it professionally serviced for $200 when I connected this and discovered that it was overcharged. It was a quick fix with this hose and gauge to get the right pressure in the system.

Barely Adequate
You can charge Freon with this setup, but the cable is very short for reaching an AC port and positioning the Freon can in a crowded engine bay. Twice the length would have been much better. All the connections are crimped, so no adjustment is possible. Also, this is a puncture-type can tap, and won't work with the newer self-sealing cans. That should have been specified in the listing.

Put's those 200 hundred dollar gauges to shame.
I bought this for less than 15 dollars and it put my 250 dollar gauges to shame. It's just a simple low side gauge, nothing else. Charged my car with R134a in less than 30 minutes. Those high dollar gauges I have will go out to the shed and collect dust. You screw a can of R134a, and hook it to the low side, unscrew the can of 134 to bleed the air out. Tighten the can tight. Turn the valve stem to open the can and put the fluid in the low side pipe.
