ANY review saying they used these once then they were dull is either a bold faced lie, or they did something to dull them. These things are razor sharp, I can push them through 5-6oz leather by hand. Have used each of these dozens of times, and I would still not touch the blade edge with my fingers.These things are absolutely amazing. I will be buying the other 2 sets and replacing the nasty old punches I have now.

The punches look nice and come packaged screaming quality. The quality ends at the packaging.They will not cut the belt leather, they barely cut thin straps. They were dull after first attempts to use which were unsuccessful.I will be returning them.

chinese quality very dull cutting edges pretty to look at but that is all would not cut thru belt grade leather very dull out of the box low grade steel spend the money and buy a better quality if you are going to use more than once.

These tools are sharp and well made! Owden apparently has a functioning Quality control in place and i did not regret this buy!This is now the 4. tool i bought from Owden and all tools have a consistent quality. They seem to be proud of their work and do not just turn out junk like other Chinese companies. At least this i my experience.

No instructions on how to exactly to use the product. It indicated it was a leather cutter, but I think maybe it goes inside some type of machine like maybe it's more of a die???? I'm not really sure but I know something more is needed other than my hands.

I tested these out when I got them and they didn't punch clear through the leather belting. Apparently you can't sharpen these so it was a total waste of money. I bought them to replace my cheaper metal punches that went dull and they worked worse. Don't bother.

My wife bought me an Owden stitching groover for my birthday, and I’d already bought a set of Owden round-hole punches, so I knew I was buying quality tools when I purchased these strap punches. WOW! These are even nicer than the other things I had. Super nice packaging AND replaceable blades! I’m very VERY pleased with this product.

The price is unbeatable for this kind of quality. Right out of the box I was cutting Belts with ease. I am so glad that I got this.

smallest one wasn't sharp out of the box, sharpened it and it works wonders, other two were nice and sharp. good for cutting outside corners, but it's not 90 degree corners. good for belts with a strap cutter; good quality metal, should last forever with proper care, use on something with a softer hardness than steel. don't use on quartz/granite/an anvil. a poly cutting board, wooden cutting board, poundo mat, will keep the blade from dulling quickly, but it'll take an edge just as quickly.

I'm sure these work well as a belt punch. However they are not suitable as a corner punch. They are not 90° right angle like the picture shows. They are more like 105-110°. They are also quite large, which is fine for a 2" belt, but won't work for a 1' inside corner. As I mentioned, the angle is greater than 90 degrees, so inside corners would be off. I'm returning them.

Packaging is above expectation. The tools themselves are sharp and cut with ease. Very impressed with these tools.
