Are they safe for chickens? Thanks** A: These are fed on wheat flour and a honey substitute they are safe to feed to chickens **Q: What is size of ghese worms?** A: These wax worms are around 1.5- 2 cm long. I feed these to my Bearded Dragon and my Rankin Dragon. I hope this helps. **Q: Do I need to give them any food to keep them alive? I’m feeding to my rescued jackdaw but obviously he won’t be having them all in 1 or 2 goes. Thanks** A: They don't require food, but do keep them in a cool, dark place. As for feeding the jackdaw, if it's a youngster, then make sure you pierce the wax worms before feeding them to him. Otherwise they could pass through the system intact and do no good. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/149613617-250-live-wax-worms-bulk-tub-of-250-waxmoth-larvae](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/149613617-250-live-wax-worms-bulk-tub-of-250-waxmoth-larvae) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
