Review: Essential Protection for the Hardwood - As an avid basketball player, finding gear that offers both protection and performance is crucial, and the McDavid Men's Compression Shorts truly deliver. These shorts offer a fantastic blend of safety and unrestricted movement. The tailbone and hip protection on these shorts is excellent. I've taken a few tumbles on the court, and the padding in these critical areas has significantly absorbed the impact, preventing what could have been some nasty bruises. While the thigh protection is moderate, it's certainly appreciated for those incidental bumps and dives. The padding is designed so that it does not impede range of motion at all. I can sprint, jump, and pivot without feeling any restriction. They fit well under basketball shorts and are comfortable throughout the game. For any basketball player looking for reliable protection without sacrificing agility or comfort, these shorts are a top-tier choice. They offer robust protection where it counts, enhance performance with athletic compression, and are built to last. Highly recommended! Review: Great for basketball - Great for basketball. I have two tall skinny teen boys. The fit was perfect. They wear them inside out, and use the thigh pad pocket for their phone, during all day tournaments. They say they are very comfortable and don't move around. We wash on delicate, cold and hang dry. ## Features - BEST FOR -- Made for Basketball but is suitable for all activities requiring padding on hips and tailbone: Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Skiing, Snowboarding.
