Nice quality cotton flannels at a very reasonable price. I have laundered them about a couple of times, at 40 temperature, and they are still in good condition.

I have to agree with another reviewer who says these remind him of his childhood when washcloths really grabbed the dirt and made you feel tingly clean. They are excellent quality, thick and soft but not so soft that they feel as if they are just gliding over the skin. Washed twice before use at 40 degrees. Absolutely no shrinkage at all and have washed the ones in use several times. No fading, still look brand new and softer but still dirt grabbing, due to the 700 gsm used to make these wash cloths. These wash cloths will last for years to come. I will be purchasing more for guests. I have been using for several weeks before leaving this review as I wanted to see how they performed over time. I cannot recommend enough, definitely the best quality washcloths I have used for decades. I hope this review helps others to make a more informed decision when purchasing, as the reviews of others are invaluable to me. Good flannels but the colour runs even after several washes

I grew up in a middle class family and each member of the family had their own face cloth identified by its colour. My father being a Doctor had the white colour so that he could easily identify foreign bodies or remnants of filth. I had the Blue one which was my privilege being the eldest of six bothers. My youngest brother had the Brown one which we all thought was ghastly. Since I got married and became head of my own family (now of course joint head) I was elevated to the position of owner of the White Face Cloth, a position that will be inherited by my eldest Son when the time comes. Now every ten years or so, when the face cloth needs replacing, I hold a vigorous selection process for it's replacement. The research and review used to take several days to conclude, until the arrival of Amazon Reviews (Hurrah!) Now it can be done in just a few minutes, such is the modern wonder of electrickery. It was an easy choice on this occasion as this face cloth had a glorious five stars from all reviewers, so it was immediately approved as the outright winner. I was so excited, that I bought a 12 pack. After close examination and use in all both bathrooms, both washrooms and the shower, and on various parts of my anatomy, I can vouch for their superb quality and the gentle nature of their fibres. It would seem therefore, that when my eldest Son inherits the title of Owner of the White Face Cloth, he will also be inheriting whats left of the 12 pack !
