Great if you need help parking in a tiny garage. It was very difficult to park my van in the space provided.n I either hit the wall or wasn't in far enough to close the door. This simple motion activated light was perfect to let me know where to park. It was easy to install on the ceiling and adjust to a spot I chose on the dash so now when I pull into the garage I know when I am in the sweet spot! No more having to get out to see if I am in far enough or if I have hit something unintended in front. It is much nicer than a hanging object. It will never be in my way. It also works for two vehicles as there are two light beams that can be adjusted.

Overall, this is a solid and practical thermometer that delivers accuracy, convenience, and good value. As long as you understand its intended use, it’s an excellent addition to any grill setup.

This would have been a 5-Star rating with the exception of the mobility of the laser "pointers" There is a plastic housing that locks in the lasers for storage/shipping that prevents full 360-degree mobility. Easy fix, my wife said, just by two since it works so well, and inexpensive base on functionality vs. tennis ball other physical alternative. I installed both pointing at two cars in the garage. I actually found that having a second laser per car helps with two aspects of parking. Alignment within the garage, and then ultimately where to stop.

The product works as expected. The only thing that people should be aware of is, if your garage has a flat ceiling say 9 to 10 feet tall. Be prepared to have to modify the unit. The lasers seem to be designed for a higher ceiling. I trimmed area around the base of where the laser swivel comes out of the housing. This allowed me to adjust the beams to compensate for the lower ceiling. At this price point I had no issues making the adjustments. The unit allows us to accurately park our two cars and a small tractor in the garage while still getting access to both sides of the vehicles. I definitely would recommend this device for higher ceilings and cautiously recommend it if yoy have a ceiling or planned mounting point 10 feet or under.

This parking assist works best for "head-in" parking. I am attempting to use it when I back into the garage so that there is enough clearance for the back gate to open and not hit the refrigerator. I have only a few inches in the front (so the garage door doesn't hit the front bumper), AND, so that the back gate will open and clear the fridge. When the laser dot reaches a certain spot on the sun roof, I know I am close to having enough clearance, front and back. Unfortunately the laser timer only stays on for less than a minute which makes it difficult to get the SUV aligned. Also, the "motion sensitivity zone" is somewhat limited.

Works great! The red light shows you exactly when you’re in the right spot in the garage. Also, easy to install.

We are moving to a place with a small-ish garage. I finally convinced my spouse that they needed this to park just far enough in that we can exit into the main house without the front bumper of the car hitting the stairway! Easy to mount, has worked well. I haven't had it long enough to check durability.

Installed the unit in my garage on a sunny day. Garage doors face south. Could barely see laser dot on my dash and since I had difficulty seeing the dot I needed extra time to park. This exceeded the 30 second auto off feature. Once the unit shut off I needed to exit the car to get the unit to come back to life. By the time I got back into the car and reoriented myself the unit turned itself off. Not good. Unit laser housings are rather cheaply made. The picture makes it look like the housing is aluminum type metal, but in reality it is just gray plastic with shiny tape covering. Mounting the unit to the ceiling was good. First attach a plate with three screws, then the unit clips to the plate. Unit has a life time warranty so it should last, but the 30 second shut off is a deal killer for me.
