Kinda... *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2020* Granted, I’ve only had this radio for a week.I’m in the process of fixing up my 88’ Rx-7 and Mazda has nearly zero support for double din unless you’re willing to custom fab all kinds of stuff.I ordered this radio.Shipping was incredibly quick, and it came neatly packaged. The harness fit right in, and I confirmed functionality by plugging directly into battery.My factory harness was a non color coded rats nest, so it required a little bit of investigative work. When I finally found a 12v constant supply and went to connect this to the radio harness, the whole yellow cable came out of the harness included with this radio. It was a minor inconvenience, as I have plenty of wire, but the added trouble of removing the pin and excess yellow insulation, re-pinning, and re-insulating was a bit of a downer.Finally, I opted to simply build myself a new harness. As this is for a drift car, I don’t need many of the features, so I simply ran the yellow wire direct to battery With a 15a fuse in line, the red wire to a splice on the radio fuse under dash, and the ground to a ground bolt.It works!Now to mounting.Once again, Retro sports cars from Mazda offer little support but I found a dash kit. Mounting the radio took a bit of modification, as the screen is just SLIGHTLY (1/8 of an inch or so) larger than a normal single din. A dremel tool made easy work and this bolted right in. The radio came with an aluminum cage designed with tabs to keep it in place. These worked better once I bent them in.Once the dash kit was mounted and I went to replace the center console trim, the size of the screen came in to play again. It was JUST too big to fit properly, but the Rx-7 has removable tabs on the center console faceplate. I removed these, but it left me with a gap.Tomorrow’s project will be to cut some black plastic and make a new frame for the factory console trim.I purchased this radio based on reviews and features. Since I only got it running this evening, my review is liable to change. For now, I am happy having a responsive touch screen that requires minimal retrofitting and custom fab.In a few months, should any issues present themselves, I’ll update this review. For now, I am happy simply having a radio.Tl;dr: this radio works. It’s size is slightly abnormal so it may require a bit of retrofitting and the included harness is of questionable quality, but the radio itself seems to work well. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2019* Same problem as reported by others. On/off/volume control knob on face of unit siezed.Radio tuner skips many frequencies making it impossible to dial in many radio stations. Equalizer has no manual control and just a few presets, 4 I think.
