Ok but expensive for a short life
I have to replace every 4 months as the flow reduces.Scale removal is not perfect. HW area and still have scale in the kettle. For the cost, not very impressed.

Sadly ordered the wrong product but returns pl=olicy was fine!
Ordered this for my Mother and the information she gave me was out of date so product didn't fit her filter system! However delivery was very quick and returns policy worked fine and also I was able to source teh correct replacment filter!

No better than 321 Triflow
We live in hard water area and use Triflow filter. The 321 filter proved to be useless. In our search for a replacement we tried this filter which proved to be no better than the 321 and provided us with clear water for just over one week only. The water tastes fine but the residue of chalk is clear to see in the kettle.

What is the difference between Doulton Part no. W9223026 and W9223021
I bought this item nearly 7 months ago. I didn't have any problem to fit the item to my MINELVA 3-in-1 Kettle Tap, so I recently wanted to order another one. I checked the original box + the outer box, which I had kept, just in case. I was surprised to see that the outer box sticker shows W9223026, but the Doulton original box shows W9223021, which is £3 -£4 cheaper on Amazon or others on the internet. So I got a wrong/cheaper item, but luckily I didn't have any problem with W9223021 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B23DMOU/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B00B23DMOU&pd_rd_w=eTO0N&pf_rd_p=1055d8b2-c10c-4d7d-b50d-96300553e15d&pd_rd_wg=0J3cG&pf_rd_r=M2Q2C8MC80CMAASFCAET&pd_rd_r=1181ee8e-b34d-4212-bc2b-6ba331e2efae&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExUERES1JPR1FNVjlTJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDU2NzY2MlRXM1g5V1M5OEQ4UCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTE1OTEzM0hJUjNHS1ZDSk44WCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbCZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=)

Buy cheap buy twice!
I have always used original Franke Filters, I now know why.Admittedly I live in a hard water area, however, the real ones last a good 4 months. This one lasted for 2 weeks! Yes 2 weeks, not a joke.I took the filter out, have it a wipe and I got another 2 weeks out of it.I won't be buying another one of these.Whether it's my water quality or not, the original lasts alot longer.

Simply don't last long enough compared to genuine Franke
We bought a pair of these after reading a few reviews on other sites. How disappointed I was with them. They work "fully" for about 2-4 weeks and then start rapidly going downhill quickly to the point where after pouring about 500ml of hot water the tap starts spluttering and barely pushing anything out. After this happened the with the first one I thought that perhaps I'd fitted it wrongly or something else but the same thing happened with the 2nd one.I've gone back to buying the genuine as they last way longer so are more cost effective than these.Update - 23rd July 2020Had the genuine Franke filter installed now for the last couple of months and it is still operating better than the Doulton ones did after 1 week. Really don't bother with these.
