Elegant Comfort Super Silky Soft - 1500 Thread Count Egyptian Quality Luxurious Wrinkle, Fade, Stain Resistant 4-Piece STRIPE Bed Sheet Set, Queen Green

I have purchased 3 sets of these sheets over the past couple of years. On every single set, one side the pillowcase hem was completely unsewn. I fixed them but I shouldn’t have to. Other than that they are thin and airy, soft and comfy, perfect for warm weather sleeping. I like the striped design as it helps when making up the bed.

Update 3/2017my original sheets purchased 2013 started to finally pill, so i came back to amazon to buy another set as we really liked them.But the elegant comfort series is NOT the same sheet I originally bought (Italian 1500 Home Couture, Sage Green, which is what my original review is for, which i gave 5 stars).linking from my orders, it brings me here, and I did not notice the new name, nor the color name change from Sage Green to just Green (although the picture looks the same as i first purchased). This year, I first bought CA king, and the color was close, so ok. then I bought Queen, and the color looks like a gray/brown, not even close to my Sage green or the picture. That's when i noticed the new name.Sending them back as that color scheme will not work and am changing my rating from 5 to 3 stars for the "switcheroo" and deception in colorsoriginal review follows (note: the product seems to have changed so i feel that my original review is no longer relevant):I'm writing this review because I do not feel all the negative claims from other reviewers are justified.The description *is* misleading, thus only 4 stars. It says egyptian "fabric", no where does it say cotton, but it leads everyone to *think* it's cotton because everyone is familiar with *egyptian* cotton.I do like the sheets, much better than the real (I hope) egyptian cotton set I bought for much more $ a few yrs back.These sheets are very soft and luxurious feeling and I do not stick to them as one reviewer has said.Also, I tend to be on the warm side, but these sheets if anything make me feel a little cooler rather than warmer (the assumption some have if the sheets are microfiber).The sheets did not "pill" (I've had them a week) but a little fuzz did come off after washing which I do not think is unusual.The description reveals that they are thin as some reviewers have noted, but they do not feel too thin to me and I definitely cannot "read a newspaper through them" as one reviewer suggested, but I can see a little light thru them when I hold them up, same as my egyptian cotton sheets.The labels on the pkg and the sheets do not indicate type of material, but I am assuming they are microfiber based on the high thread count and softness (google microfiber vs egyptian cotton - very interesting info, some of which states you really cannot compare microfiber thread count to egyptian cotton thread count because by nature, microfiber *is* made of thin strands and increasing the threadcount for microfiber is not the same as increasing threadcount on cotton sheets; after this research, I can believe these sheets really are 1500 thread count).The sheets are plenty big for my 11" high mattress and the corners stay put (can't say about the sides, because my mattress is too heavy to lift & properly tuck the sides in).I did *not* smell a "chemical" smell upon opening the pkg, and I am *very* sensitive to smells.Some have questioned durability, but if the sheets really are microfiber, they should be durable (google microfiber durability).I did not have a problem with wrinkling, but I did remove promptly from dryer as another reviewer recommended.I liked the sheets enough to order a 2nd set!

bought gray stripe set. Stitching has some loose threads already. the fitted sheet is stitched in a way like a draw string...so the sheet moves along the elastic...I can foresee it getting unevenly bunched and having to manually move sheet around the elastic. I have gray fibers sown into the folded edge of the pillow cases so it looks like stains but it is just threads...so Quality control not super high...but for the price and the limited use these sheets will get I can hide best as possible. I will say I do like that you get 4 pillow cases with the set...now that is a great thing! But if looking for soft - these do feel pretty darn good!

You’re never going to find sheets this comfortable for the price. They are so so so soft. They fit perfectly on my king size bed. The only thing I would say is the stripes are very very subtle you can hardly see them. But I still love these sheets!

This is the 4th set of Elegant Comfort sheets I have bought. This is the first set that has a design of any kind. This is also the 1st set that included four pillowcases. I was very excited about the extra pillowcases. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and spend most of my time in bed. It's nice to be able to put on a fresh pillowcase every couple of days. Having 3 sets already, I really didn't need these, but I couldn't pass up those extra pillowcases. I gave a set to my son which made me down to 2 sets which gave me the excuse to order these. The color is drab. My others are bright orange, hot pink, and light pink.After giving away a set of my sheets and having to take a drab color in order to get 4 pillowcases, they arrived with TWO pillowcases, NOT four. I'm a very unhappy camper. Seems like I got scammed. Was I scammed by the sheet company, by Amazon, or both?

Comfortable sheets.

Seem like a nice quality, but description says they're a cool sheet and they most definitely are not. Soft and cozy but they hold the heat like crazy. Still a nice set for the price but don't buy if you're looking for cooling. Should be good for winter but definitely not what I was looking for in a summer set.

It is far to big for my bed, so each morning I have to remake my bed.

Lovely and soft material. Good strong elastic on fitted sheet. Material is a bit on the thin side. Nice soft lilac colour.

These are fantastic sheets. Very elegant and comfortable. They are also deep-fitted so they fit my double pillowtop mattress. They took a little longer to receive as it was shipped from the US, but worth the wait. I would love to buy a second set in a different colour.

I purchased 2 Damask Striped FULL bed sheet sets of the brand "Elegant Comfort". I've updated pics with what the original brand packaging and tag looks like. The bedsheet set was silky soft and cool to touch, it did not change colors after wash, has not pilled (yet!). Feels nice on the skin when we lay on it. Reasonable price. So I figured lets get the same brand, everything exactly the same but just in Queen size. So two sets were ordered. It has been frustrating since then. We received a random "Luxury" brand where the sheet set pattern and color looked similar to the Elegant Comfort type of sheets we had ordered. It said 1500 thread count but feels like polyester and is no way comparable to the quality of the Elegant Comfort branded sheets that I paid for. Called Amazon customer service. They were very helpful and ordered replacements for both Queen sheet sets but alas! we again got the exact same "Luxury" brand. Given that the Elegant Comfort brand is so much better, I have no idea why they'd ship something random which ruins the brand reputation and end up losing customers. I hope they are able to resolve this issue with the manufacturer as I would like to order more of this brand.
