A great addition to cotton swabs for ear cleaning!
My ear wax is more liquid than solid, so I'll always need an absorbant ear swab. However, I've never really had a problem with wax build-up because of the way I use the swabs - yes, I put them in my ear canal; no, I don't shove them in but keep the cotton next to the side and swivel/rotate it around to clean. That said, since I am pretty neurotic about my ears and keeping them clean (probably the masses of ear infections I had as a child) I've been curious about these ear picks. They feel delicate and breakable, but because it's bamboo, they're actually quite hardy, as long as you work with the pick and not against it. Using it the first time was so easy and while I didn't get a humongous amount of wax (I didn't expect to) the pick did manage to give my ears a nice, clean feeling. And cleaning the pick itself was quick and easy, too. Winner!

They Work Great
These ear picks have solved my long time earwax problems. I've often had hearing impaired by wax, over this last summer when I had water stuck in them for almost a week after doing some swimming I was ready to try anything and found these. I'm glad I did. You need to take care when using them to be very gentle especially if you're going deep in there, but the results can be incredible. This is a bit gross but I've pulled unbelievable gobs of wax out of my ears that made me gape in disbelief. Afterward I was hearing static for a time almost like my ears were readjusting to their newfound sensitivity. The dark wax I pulled out blocking things up very deep in the ear canal, so I want to stress again to be very careful to guide these in gently. Don't force them or make any sudden movements when they're in there and you should be fine and safe. Now I use them maybe every 3 weeks or so and never get big buildups like I used to. I've had to learn not to overdo it because using these things can be very satisfying, but you don't want to mess too much with your ear's natural process, just manage buildup over time.

Love these ear cleaner…
My Ex’s Mother-in-Law, a wonderful 5 foot nothing Japanese Lady, told me about these wonderful wooden spoons to clean your ear with. I have been using these for the past 30 years and would not use anything else. Before using it for the first time she told me to rub it on my scalp for a couple of minutes to coat the spoon and fix any imperfections such as sharp edges, or tiny splinter if you buy a handmade ear cleaner.

Gave me an ear infection
These things are rough like sandpaper and no indication on how deep you should go. Blood came out of my ears after use and had to go to the doctor. Would not suggest anyone else to use these. Doctor said you should never stick anything in your ears.

Product Works Pretty Well
This product works better than another product that I had previously used. The old product was fragile and broke easily. This product doesn't take place of occasional ear flushing, but it works very well for daily use. I do recommend it if you are like me and have a tendency to accuma late ear wax.

This is the Good ear pick.
There are other bamboo ear picks, but they are too stiff, too wide, and are usually shaped in a way that'll encourage you to hurt yourself. These are flexible and shaped just right for gentle cleaning. Get these, not the others.

They work but are very thin
I got these a while back and have been using them regularly. I usually buy the bamboo ones with the tiny doll heads on the end (or whatever they are)http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053OELYO/ref=s9_simh_gw_p121_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1T55HCTSM7FH99SD1JKY&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846Amazon carries them but does not offer Prime shipping on those, so I tried these instead. These are much thinner than the ones I usually use, so thin I actually worry that they will break and/or splinter. They flex a lot when used, which I do not like.I do like the little case they come in, it's useful for storing them. They seem to do a good job but if I had to choose between the two, I would get the thicker bamboo ones over these.

Ear cleaners
Similar to ear cleaners from years past. Much more effective than cue tips.
