Inexpensive and works great
This recliner lift chair controler works great for our recliner from slumberland. $100 less than the single button replacement from any furniture store.

It works!!! Easy to install. Converts a right-handed control to a left-handed control.
This control is found under different brand names from various sellers on Amazon. They all look the same, so I'm assuming they have a common Chinese manufacturer. Thus, this review applies to all of them. For about $11 to $13, you have a control that converts a right-handed recliner control to a left hand-recliner control. Plus it is easy to install. Given the premium manufacturers charge for left handed controls on recliners, this is a cost-efficient way to go. All you have to do is turn the recliner upside down and find the 5 pin plug and connection for the chair's normal control. Unplug the plug from the connection and plug in the new plug for the new control. Return the chair to its upright position and -- voila -- the new control will work. There are many in-depth explanations on youtube if you want more info. In my case, I am using the recliner after surgery on my right shoulder. Most of the recliners had right hand controls, which I could not control because my right hand was immobilized after surgery. By buying this, however, it allowed me to utilize my good hand with a left handed control, plus it put the control on the end of a cord which is more convenient anyway. The only negative is that after installation the up and down arrows were reversed, but that could be a normal result of switching it from right to left. For the price, it didn't bother me.

It Works!
My husband is disabled and has a "no name brand" lift chair. It began not responding when he'd try to make it go up or down about a week ago. We thought we were going to have to replace it, which we can't afford to do right now. Since it seemed to be an issue with the control, I asked him to unplug it so that I could see what type of connection it had. I searched on here and most of them were really expensive, especially for something that I didn't even know would solve the problem. Then, I saw this controller and the price was very reasonable. I decided that it was worth it to take a chance since it had great reviews. It arrived the next day (!) and we plugged it in. Voila! It works perfectly! This really saved us a lot of money and effort. I am thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Backward operation, but it DOES operate
I think condensation from my humidifier killed my original remote's up button, so thought I'd need a whole adjustable frame. Glad to learn that it was likely just a completely replaceable remote. This one was cheap and is the right pin connection. Only thing is, the up button actually moves the head of the bed down and the down button moves it up. Beggars can't be choosers, I suppose

Definitely worth the money
This is a definitely good product as it worked on my mom's lift chair with ease. As I've had it over a year now and it is still working fine. Easy plug-in and play I highly recommend this product

Perfect replacement!
I have to admit, I had my doubts... I recently โsavedโ my great-grandmothers ancient 35 year old Pride lift chair. However, after plugging it in, it automatically reclined and got stuck there due to the remote being broken. I thought all was lost... But nowadays I check Amazon right away when stuff like this comes up, and sure enough there were several replacement remotes to choose from. The actual Pride brand replacement was available and guaranteed to work but cost $89.99, more than I wanted to spend. Always thrifty, I came across this little bad boy, and decided to give it a shot at less than $14. Got it today, plugged it in...and it didnโt work. Figured it was either a bum remote or the motor died, so I started looking around inside and found that the connector pin end of the cable has two little extended knobs on the outside that were preventing it from being fully inserted. I had to unplug both the new remote and the power source to the motor, then plugged in the remote first to make sure it fit. It did, so I tried to plug in the power to the motor and had to force it in order to make it go in. It did, and I held my breath in anticipation as I prepared to press the button... And it worked!!! Like a charm, and for $80 less. Couldnโt be happier. If you have any issues with this, I would recommend first either forcing it like I did or removing those little knobs somehow. Oh, and the item was exactly as described, the connection is a 5-pin half-circle and it was straight, not at a right angle. Would definitely recommend, you helped me make a relic like brand new!

Saved my father's lift chair
My father's lift chair was no longer usable as the controller no longer worked and he was straddling the foot rest and shuffling to get up and having to "fall" into the chair. Installing the new controller took only minutes and I only needed a Phillips screwdriver to do the job and a couple of cable ties to secure the cord. The only issue I had was that the new unit had a somewhat shorter cord so I had to kitty corner it a bit under the chair.
